Laurent Mayer has been passionate about music since his childhood. He shaped his musical culture and worked his technique from 1980 until now. He took part in the birth of independant radio stations ( Radios Libres ). Thanks to his skills he became unrecognized during DJs championships in Paris and Europe in which he became “DJ d'OR 88” , Paris champion, and European championship finalist. In order to promote the Dj profession, unrecognized ( which was not recognized at the time.) at this time. At his majority in 1984, he created the label MIND ODYSSEY and “l'Association de France des Djs”. In order to popularize the art djing he also organized DJ MIX parties,an innovation at that time,
Well-known since the beginning of the 90's (under the nickname) as DJ BRAINWASHER, Laurent Mayer spreads his passion of music by (playing) his technically sharpened mixes enriched by the best new musical releases.
He organized and participated in (soirees) in the biggest parisian clubs including the WIZZ, the former Bobino theater, where he plays the first House songs in France. ****
From 1989 to 1991, Laurent Mayer was the resident dj of the BOY club,mythical temple of electronic music in Paris, birthplace of the New Beat, House and Acid House in France, evolving into the emerging techno movement. ***
He witnessed the beginning of this era and influenced musically many young Djs including Laurent Garnier, David Guetta, Joachim Garraud, St Germain, to name a few.
In 1991 he took the lead of the MEMORIES' Art Department ( artistic direction ). In 1992 he became the QUEEN's first resident DJ.
Throughout the 90s he organized several events and became the resident DJ for multiple clubs such as the PALACE, LES BAINS, LE PRIVILEGE and LA LOCO where he produced a video tape and a live mix CD with musicians which was released by Warner Home Video followed by two national tours.
By playing his underground techno sets, he contributed to the first wave of House, Techno, Acid House, Trance as well as the birth of national and international rave parties.
His love of music lead him to production as early as 1988. He is the first French electronic music artist to sign on a foreign label, alongside L'Ange Gabriel on Bonzai records. He released several mix compilations that are still appreciated and sought after to this day. ( even today)
In 1994, after being contacted by the label HAPPY MUSIC, Laurent Mayer co-created the label STEP2HOUSE (specialized in Trance, House and Techno). He will manage to be the co-director and artistic producer at the same time. He produced around twenty artists, which are, for the most of them, known internationally. (cf Discogs)
With his strong experience he has participated in many national events like in Paris under the Arche de la Defense (5.500 people), the Parc des Expositions du Bourget, the Argeles' arena , the Gay Pride and in many international festivals in Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Belgium.
From 2006 to 2010 he was the manager of the club La Mandragore in Rennes (35) where he organised and managed several theme parties ( Electro, House, Psytrance ...).
With his high standards, wide skills and musical knowledge, Laurent Mayer offers different worlds labeled under the brand :”Laurent Mayer Présente”.
In addition to his booking agency, Laurent Mayer has now founded his own label: Mind Odyssey
( Association de france des DJ's et des producteurs de musiques électronique ) as weel as his edition and production company ( Mayer Productions ). Two Eps have just been released at the beginning of the year 2016. After all these years of hard work in the production field, an album will be released by the end of the year, all while doing remixes, musical collaborations and a world tour.

HenTwiN est la contraction de Hent (la voie en breton) et Twin (jumeaux/jumelles en anglais) pour mêler ses racines et l'ouverture au monde.

Traduction ? "Les voies jumelles" pour représenter la vie en harmonie avec notre part d'ombre et de lumière. 

HenTwiN a commencé sa passion musicale dès l'âge de 12 ans derrière une batterie et après avoir découvert la Free Party, il décide à 18 ans de se lancer dans le mix. 

Depuis plusieurs années il passe des heures à composer ses productions comme du live en parallèle des soirées mix ! 

Ses influences lui viennent de la techno, l'acid techno, l'hardtechno, la tribe, la drum and Bass et le break beat !

Aujourd'hui, son objectif est de produire des sonorités enivrantes et puissantes grâce à la Techno et la Drum and bass !
