๑ context ๑

in january 2024 my ex and i broke up.
we still lived in the same flat in paris for about 6 more months 'cause i couldn't find an appartment.
rent was either so high or my income so low, and the inflation was not helping. 
in june 2024 i finally find a new appartement.
after less than a year, in march 2025, my landlord asked me to leave the place because she broke up with her new boyfriend...
i wrote this song the afternoon right after her text message.
i was so disapointed.
feeling of going in circle. couldn't find my way out.
i was forced to move back to my mom's place in Ariege and quit my job.
after 6 years in Paris trying to start my music's career. 
spoiler : leaving Paris turned out to be the best thing that happened to me and my mental health.
In 2024 i was saying "dumping me was the best thing that happened to me this year"
in 2025 it's "kicking me out was the best thing that happened to me this year".
i'm so stubborn, life has to be rough with me

j'avais 27 ans.
c'était mon premier amour.
j'ai tellement guérit avec ce garçon.
ça a fait des remous.
j'ai arrêté de fumer, j'ai revu ma manière de consommer l'alcool et j'ai réussi à surmonter des blocages venant d'anciens traumatismes.
quand j'aime c'est de tout mon cœur.
j'étais prêt à faire beaucoup d'efforts pour ce garçon et pour notre relation, quitte à devenir une totale autre personne à force de trop vouloir lui plaire.
nous n'avons pas su surmonter certains obstacles et je me suis senti de plus en plus négligé.
c'est triste à dire mais ce n'était pas suffisant pour me faire partir.
c'est lui qui a finalement eu
la lucidité ?
la lâcheté ?
de me quitter.

aout 2025.
je sens enfin un chapitre se tourner lors d'un coup d'un soir exceptionnel.
un garçon auquel je pense très souvent et que je n'ai pourtant vu qu'un soir.
il m'a accueilli chez lui et dans son cœur avec une telle aisance, un telle légèreté.
il fallait que je lui dédis une chanson.
je le suis encore sur instagram, peut-être que je lui enverrai un jour !

2 years of psychoanalysis.
i first went in for a old story that was coming back to me, and stayed because of the work i hated, the breakup i went through, the anxiety of watching the world burning and the wars starting everywhere.
my psychiatrist wasn't a talker. i was convinced that i was crazy.
i needed him to tell me that i was crazy just to reassure me.
i know.. that's crazy.
but he didn't give me any diagnosis.
i think i was just unhappy and far from my family.
it was a mess... i didn't know... i didn't listen to my body
