Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore-based music producer/DJ. Drawing his influences from the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, and Nathan Fake. Weird Sounding Dude’s trademark chuggy grooves, squelchy rhythms, and winding melodies are sure to satisfy his listeners but there are always a few surprises along the way.

Weird Sounding Dude has made his name in the underground scene by performing at the finest clubs and festivals, along with having releases on some of the most prestigious record labels in the dance music industry such as Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Hoomidaas, Kindisch, Plattenbank, Meanwhile, Mango Alley, onedotsixtwo, among many others.

It’s safe to say that, Weird Sounding Dude’s musical expedition has slowly started to take shape with no intention of slowing down.

Hola a todos, bienvenidos al miércoles y otro podcast exclusivo de PFG! Yes yes, we are back in the air and back on mission, searching for those supersonic progressive beats! 

As the intro suggests we are back in possibly our favourite dance floor destination, BUENOS AIRES! Let's face it, when there is THAT much talent at your disposal, why wouldn't you keep returning? This week see's us at the home of a man whose star has not only ascended, it has literally teleported to another level. His name, wether it be at production or remixing is THE hottest name around. Juan's passion for music began at the age of 7 when he heard the first vinyl of his life.... “The Beatles, Rubber Soul” From there he fell in love with music, listening to influences like Spinetta, Charly Garcia, Queen, Guns N' Roses, etc.

Juan's passion for electronica was born while finishing Elementary school, when he went to the Historical ENERGY PARADE, at the tender age of 12. It was a free Historical Festival in the Woods of Palermo. Argentina. All of his adolescent life was spent playing in different Rock, Punk and Melodic Hardcore Punk bands,
learning to play Bass, Drums, Percussion and Second Guitar.

He started listening to Radio Energy and following artists like JP Filter, Réflex, Escuadra 99, among others. In 2018 Juan started producing his own music, and looking for his own style. Since this time he has been receiving support from artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Henry Saiz, Tony Mc Guinness, Grazziano Raffa and Mariano Mellino among many others.

"My Concept of Teleport means taking you to other worlds, to other states of mind, to teleport to new universes. The X means that there is no fixed course, it is unknown, so we can go to a world full of Progressive House or we can go to Organic House, or we can be experimental... There are no labels on our music"

Inspired by the first mixing programs on the Dutch radio, Clement van Dijk started mixing in the early 80’s. Being the music obsessive that he is, it didn’t take him very long to find a local club (Display) to showcase his skills. After doing so for a couple of years the promoters of Arnhems hottest dance club; Luxor, offered him a monthly residency on the Stargate party's. This gave Clay the opportunity to play alongside almost every well-known deejay in Holland, and in countries like, Hungary, Mexico, Germany, England, Greece and others... 

This quietly-spoken DJ from Amsterdam has always understood what made people dance, but never compromised his vision of what good music should be like. By continuously following his favorite waxmasters, like John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, he developed his love for progressive house music. And now as a big fan of producers like, Guy J, Alex O'Rion, Marcelo Vasami, Matias Chilano, Matter, GMJ and many more....

His style reaches from proggy house with some of the most beautiful strings and vocals you are likely to hear unto deep and dark progressive. He combines deep house, progressive and melodic techno into a hypnotic and intense DJ set. His specialty is creating an atmosphere wherein the audience will be taken to a different musical level. He will take you on a rare, extraordinary and psychedelic musical trip in to the deep space of the progressive underground.

Every first Friday of the month Clay has his radio show Connecting Souls on Proton Radio. Let this joyful Deejay connect your souls on the dance floor with his magical mix of progressive house, deep house and melodic techno music. Now in these days you can find him as a resident in the best underground club in Amsterdam, The Recycle Lounge Gallery Club, and in the famous hotspot Club NL.
