Long Time Coming

Stamp The Wax just came out with a new series to divine into one producers sound and put together a mixtape. It was very clear from the beginning for me that I could only tribute this to one of the greatest the world has ever seen, Romanthony!!! 👑 I ve tried to make the mix as entertaining as possible and fill it with as much love for him as possible. Hopefully I can still surprise you with a few tunes. But obviously I left a lot of stuff out to make the mixtape fun.
My absolute adoration started when I saw him live in 2002 with his band touring R Hide In Plain Site and I gotta say that show reprogrammed my perception what house music is and can be, so much more than just drums and samples . I suppose next to D'Angelo that was the Prince concert I always wanted to see. He even had two women in his band on Drums and Bass which probably was a nod to Prince ( making assumptions here )....
