For this 12” we could allure some top notch producers. Like Web Web’s œvre itself, the variety of remixes on this 12” as well is stunningly diversified. 
We’ve got an uplifting disco house groover by living legend Mousse T., which already got massive support by Louie Vega on his Worldwide radio show. A tribal afro house re-work by NY resident Hector Romero & Ayala from Italy; some avant-garde broken beats plus a mellow slow motion version of “Land Of The Arum Flowers” by Italian freestyle, trap, jazzy beats rising star Khalab; an epic downbeat monster by Vienna beat smith URBS, and last but not least a smooth dubby remix by Munich’s beat wunderkind L One. A secret weapon 12” representing a beautiful wide musical spectrum.

They say time flies when you’re having fun and although the last few months may have dragged their feet a little bit, we’re already at WEEK 14! of our Mid Week Mix series and there ain’t no dragging feet here - WE’RE DANCING!! 

Today we return to our favourite place, the guest mix, this week recorded by Melbourne-based duo, Bound. 

Having come onto our radar in the last few months, Bound's deep and progressive style provides the perfect mid-week warm up, as well as a welcome reminder of what feels almost within touching distance (fingers crossed, masks on!) -  the dark and dingy corners of Melbourne’s beautiful nightlife.  

This particular mix features music from Township Rebellion, Stan Kolev & Solee, as well as an unrealised track from the boys themselves.

Nico Morano is a name synonymous with melodic energy, which seeps through his DJ sets, his commendable productions and remixes, and his own Ontourage Music label and parties.

For quite a few years now, the sound of Nico Morano is turning heads as one of the most sophisticated ones in Belgium and beyond. Through reputable releases on DAYS like NIGHTS, Selador, Kattermukke, Dantze and his own Ontourage Music and Atmosphere Records, the Belgian DJ, producer and label boss has been cultivating a unique blend of deep, melodic house with a strong emotional touch, resulting in more than a hundred gigs in Belgium alone, from shows at highly respected clubs such as Ampère, Fuse and Kompass Klub to his own Nico Morano & Friends stage at Paradise City Festival and Tomorrowland.

In the past few years, Nico Morano has collaborated with the likes of Jonas Saalbach, Radeckt and Tom Zeta and saw his effervescent originals remixed by internationally acclaimed peers such as Eelke Kleijn, Sabb, Moonwalk, Biesmans and Nandu. 🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

Partly, probably similar to most artist. Instead of playing gigs, I play live streams  and
sometimes small (mostly open air ) events with Corona restrictions, which all feels pretty
strange. On the bright sight, the pressure is off and you got more time for other things.
I used the opportunity to take a little break from social media, be more in the studio and
to found a start up.

🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

At home. Recording podcasts is actually the only thing that feels exactly the same as
before.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

Foremost, I hope the electronic scene will get through all this well. And of course I
hope, even though it doesn’t seem very likely, festivals and club events will be able to
take place without any major restrictions.
