A long time friend of the label and an artist who needs no introduction, Recondite presents two unique techno narratives for his much anticipated first EP on Life and Death.

Up first and straight out the gate like the turning of the great Boethian wheel, Think Twice turns over and on top of itself again, like the march of time and the fortunes of paupers and princes alike. An ever advancing urgent reminder of the transitory nature of the eternal now, it graces us with her beauty and leaves us with a shaking sensation deep in our bones. 

On the B side, Serak begins with a bellowing bass emitted like a series of holotropic breaths from belly of Stanislav Grof himself. A sequence of sounds sent like a fishing line to the depths of the psyche, it returns with a portentous melody that winds and wanders until exploding midway thru the piece in a burst of restrained emotion.

5) The Hamptons Long Island Police dept purchased a de-commissions Virginia class submarine to be their patrol submarine boat. Its first arrest was a group of teenagers smoking weed and playing rap music on their boat. A high teen said of the arrest by the submarine, 'I have to say, it was pretty cool riding back in that thing, especially being totally baked...'

Easy listening has always been the only mood that is taking over our mixes; well with Berny, it doesn't get easier than this. An exquisite selection of his favorite records, from ambient to jazz, from house to disco; a soothing flow from the Italian boy. A perfect start with the ambient version of 'Calinerie by Gorge Hewek & Izhevski', guarantees that this mix is nothing but smooth to the ears and mood.

Who is Berny?

BERNY (King Street Sounds // Nite Grooves // Zoo:Technique // Save Room Recordings) first came into the public domain with his smash hit 'Shplatten' in 2010 on Aenaria Recordings. The track rocked all Clubs and Festivals around the world thanks to the support of Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola and gived to BERNY a well deserved international reputation together with a long permanence on Beatport Top 20.

On 2011 BERNY signed important works like the 'Visit Brooklyn' Ep on Open Bar
Music and the brilliant 'Retro 01' Ep on Autan Recordings featuring a remix from Claudio Coccoluto, anticipating and experiencing between the firsts the so now fashionable Indie/Nu Disco Genre. In 2012 the debut on Kruse&Nuernberg's label Save Room Recordings with the sophisticated Ep 'Spots' together with Dave Mayer and Michelle Owen and the release of important remixes for Marshall Jefferson and Karol XVII &MB Valence. Early 2013 saw the debut of an important collaboration with Joy Kitikonti on the 'Big Bang' Ep and the one with Jazzloungerz and E-Man, remixing their superb track 'The One I Lost' . After this finally the first and long anticipated 12 tracks Lp 'Central Park' produced by Italians Deep House kings Harley&Muscle and supported by Jimpster, Larry Heard, Kyodai, Andre Lodemann, Mousse T ,Rainer Truby and many others; a European tour starting from Weekend Club in Berlin on April 2013 signed first part of the year touching Germany, Greece and Holland. Back in Studio after Summer 2013 Berny reached #5 on Traxsource Main Chart with his great remix of Soul Minority 'Down The Road', Top 100 on Beatport Tech House Chart with his track 'Quel Age' on prestigious Italian Label Zoo:Technique and also Top 30 on Beatport Indie Nu Dance Chart with his remix of 'Jazz Mind' for George Horn on Cromarti Records. In the beginning of 2014 Berny reached #3 on Traxsource House Chart with his remix of 'Qubiko,Fabio Ricciuti – Temptation' on Nite Grooves. Latest collaborations includes a remix for Cosmic Cowboys (Rotary Cocktail) and Giorgia Angiuli (Get Physical) for the track 'In The Dark' that reached #3 on Traxsource Tech House Chart and the remix for Oded Nir
on Suntree Recordings of the track 'Late Night Flight', positioned #1 on Traxsource Nu Disco/Indie Dance and #9 on Main Chart. Early 2015 releases are the elegant remixes for Sunshine Jones on King Street Sounds and the remix for Rosario Galati on Deep Deluxe Recordings, both tracks featured on Traxsource Hype Charts. Latest Berny's gigs included his 2014 Japan Tour with dates @ Womb and Origami in Tokyo , Moscow @ Shanti Club and Mad House Club in Riga, Lettonia; Early 2015 saw Berny's debut in Lyon, Tallin, Shanghai and Seoul and now he will spend most of Summer 2015 in Berlin with dates @ Trust Bar, Suss War Gestern and Suicide Circus but with an extra-date in Hong Kong late August. Robbie Akbal is back with a brand new single on his own eponymously titled label. Produced alongside Veronika Fleyta from Russia, it comes with magical remixes from Sascha Dive and and LUM, and proves that the Barcelona based Mexican is a true deep  house don.
Akbal and his label are both widely respected for their cultured house sounds and the artist himself has also released on Culprit, Get Physical and No 19 Music. Often collaborating with
stars like Aidan Lavelle and vocalists like Cari Golden, he has a rich sound that is emotive and effective on the floor.
The one original here is hot indeed with its loopy, rooted drums really sucking you into a nice deep groove. Loose, organic percussion flaps up top and whimsical chords drift like clouds
above. It makes for escapist listening and once the effortlessly blissful vocal comes in, the sensuousness is ramped up a notch further.
German house master and cultured Deep Vibes label boss Sascha Dive then provides two brilliant remixes. The first is his Oslo Summer version and is patient, stripped back and dubbed
out, with tin pot hits and silky smooth bass all hypnotising you as it unfolds. Lastly we have LUM who has recently released on Crosstown Rebels sublabel Rebellion and is remixing for Kompakt alongisde NU. Her he totally flips the script and
offers a perfectly atmospheric and soft focus remix full of gorgeous chords, gently turning drums and aqueous rhythms that sooth mind, body and soul.

This is a varied and vital package where label, artist and remixers all come up with the goods.

We are proud to present you our 48th release. For this release we have a new act onboard. The very talented Jos & Eli.

Yossi Seluk and Eli Abutbul are two born guys from Ashdod Israel. Since childhood they had a keen interest in music- Jos had a special touch with the keyboards and Eli was grooving with the drums. Since they collaborated and started making music together – people knew their music would be hot and make waves!
After graduating high school and serving 3 years in the army Jos & Eli returned to their love of music. This time their focus was on the electronic genre – which took over the hottest clubs in Israel by the most popular artists globally. Their journey began in 2013 with their first track titled “the beginning” on a minor dutch label. The track got a lot of praise which in turn gave Jos and Eli the confidence and drive to continue their journey in the music industry.
Playing in the biggest clubs in Tel-Aviv and Israel, Recently, they have scaled up their music by releasing 10 tracks at various label, big labels as Diynamic music, Sudbeat, Steyoyke, Parquet and Einmusika.

Jos & Eli are two motivated and talented individuals making unique sounds their in the electronic space and stay tuned as you will be hearing a lot more from them in the near future and on our label.
