Some time ago I asked Donato to compile the “Rome” edition of the 200th podcast for electronique.it.

His response to this challenge is a techno mix that I can best describe as an intense, intimate and evocative portrait of the reality that is Rome. While drawing on a wide range of source material and inspiration from the past, he constructs a deeply personal mix that is directed towards the future. It is, in a word, epic!

Millok - I'm Trippin (ME & her Remix)

The second release on UK producer Melé's Quadrants label is a dense, four-track tech EP from Callahan titled Fallacy. It maintains techno atmospherics, but houses a warped bassline and hi-hats on the ups that render it some genre-less clusterfuck of dance-able, dystopian aesthetics.

This months guest is the Berlin-based Techno producer, Live Act and DJ Ray Kajioka.
Ray is best known for his output on Kanzleramt Music. But also for his on Cocoon released EP "Never Ending" and remixes for artists like Joel Mull, Dave Clarke, Alexander Kowalski and many more. 

A striking aspect of his music is certainly the warm spheric and impulsive sound, which is constantly present in all his productions.
“The typical Ray-sound!”, as some call it simply, is appreciated all around the globe and had taken him to events international-wide.

His debut album "En Route" can be expected in March on Heiko Laux' Kanzleramt Music.
Besides that there will be also a remix for Nicholas Bacher, coming one month later in April, on Yan Stricker's !!Organism imprint.

Here we go

Next instalment of the Black and Whites is by The Eastern Europeans Nikoretti & Sopik with 2 tracks.

Firstly is the original Wastewalker. Driving rolling bassline with top crisp percussion is combined for a devastating pounding hands in the air anthem. This is super cross over techno at its finest. 

Remixes of Wastewalker are by :

Franky Stryke. Oh wow.. This is a massive bomb remix by the frenchman. This guys production skills are excellent. This drops and kicks like a mule. I have played this out already to great rapture. Absolutely amazing rework!!

Cristian Arango is next. Mr Arango is a big techno DJ in the USA. This remix is outstanding quality. He reworks it slightly darker than the original and in his own style. This is sure to also be a big hit with the Yin Yang fans. Massive.

Overlocking is up next. The Original is a blend of techno with some excellent hardcore stabs that go together like chalk and cheese. Excellent break downs and kicks back in with great power. Superb. 

The Remix is by DJ Veliko Jovic and its quite a bomb. Production is excellent and it has all the hallmarks of an excellent Yin Yang release. Fantastic sequencer skills.

All in all.. another killer by Yin Yang..
