The Raise are a 3 piece, Cornish based riff rock band made up of like minded and experienced musicians. Rob Elton [lead vocals and guitar] Nik Gunn [Bass guitar and backing vocals] and Nigel Masters [Drums and backing vocals]. The Raise were formed by front man Rob Elton singer guitarist from the popular cornish surf rockers rootjoose and this latest venture is designed to provide it’s band members with a musical challenge and an outlet for the music they love to write and play. The Raise have a current record called IN ANOTHER LIFE available on CD through their website and digitally through iTunes. They are currently recording another album for release in 2014.
