Leeu’s music is uncompromising and cross genre- his unique approach to music production challenges the usual structures we often hear in dance music. There is an inherent rebellion to usual standards or rules, each song comes from a personal place, crafted with imaginative sound design & raw field recordings -having an ear for detail, steady groove and unusual rhythmic patterns which truly offers a unique listening & dancing experience. 
Constantly on the go, either releasing albums, Eps or remixes - his music's lead him into many avenues from playing live, djing, sound engineering, to hosting events and more recently teaching  production & DJing to local talents & made many notable contributions towards thee fast growing music scene in South Africa. 
Leeu translates his  productions into unique live performances, a skillset that has been a crucial ingredient in his career and a vehicle to play and travel around the world,  for clubs and festivals both on local and international stages. Playing alongside notable artists such as - 
Little Dragon, Powel, Eric Volta, Iorie, Dandara, Frivolous, Kalabrese, Lazarusman, Thor Rixon, Alice Phoebe Lou, Barrio Lindo, Matanza,  Bonobo, Arutani,WIDE AWAKE, Tom Misch, David Mears, Floyd Lavine, Stimming, HVOB , Morena Leraba, Black Coffee & more to date. 
Leeu is also Co-owner & label manager of one of the finest importers of high quality local electronic music - Suid Tronica.
