 What is RBR ?
Founded by @daiguana & @dokomodo Reptilian Business Records aims to be an independent label of hybrid music, with the goal of promoting the fusion of electronic rhythms, organic samples, sound design, and traditional instruments, through the vision of local and international artists of all kinds. From tribal house to UK dubstep, from psychedelic cumbia to dark disco, from slow trance to indie dance, everything that purrs and reflects its scales, which squeaks and waves at the same time: reptilian music.

About the VA "GECKO BLASTER"
This VA puts the spotlight on 8 countries, represented by twenty artists from radically different scenes, from the Parisian organic underground to the dubstep sound system scene of Brooklyn, to the downtempo and schnekno of Berlin and Frankfurt, Swiss lo-fi, Japanese experimental, or slow house drawn from Brazilian forests, not to mention the participation of locals from the french southwest who offer organic jungle, slow dark electro or tribal slow trance... A musical diversity that has a common denominator love for psychedelia, distortion, depth of bass, and sharp rhythms like the claws of an arboreal monitor lizard.

· About the track ·
Skarú is an electronic music project based in Berlin,  experimentation of slow beats and textures,  challenging audio research going from downtempo to ambient. He gave us a piece of ambient that we would love to describe, but listening to it is the only way to understand.

Verses of the Brazilian poet Augusto dos Anjos that seem more current as society, unfortunately, plunges into its worst forms. 
The composition synthesizes feelings and thoughts provoked by the poem, intends to provoke reflections of life, human relations, resistance, conception of reality and world feelings. 
The mud that awaits us would no longer be so bleak, but the ideal state for new seedlings to grow and evolve.

We met @luimafuta thanks to our friends from @downvienna at a wild party at Fluc in Vienna in 2019 . We spend some nice days together and feel in love with his live set. When Jonas aka @KlangDruide then send us " A Spoon full of honey" as release proposal earlier this year, we directly had to think of Lui and knew this would be a great match. Lui took his friend Puste along with his trumpet and out came this beauty of a track. Due to Corona we could not enjoy their live performance at Klunkerkranich last Saturday the 14.03, but we hope the song puts a smile on your face where ever you are right now. 

As always with Hug Records 50% of the profit raised with this track are donated to the Water Project from @Love-Foundation. The other 50% are split equally between Artist and Label.

Hammers is Sofi's first song to ever be released in 2020. It is an ode to her piano and the relationship they've had for more than 10 years.
