Musician/Pianist from Bali, Indonesia who enjoys playing hammond and singing too. Music is what I am passionate about, besides music I also have interests in fine art, culinary, and design. I love Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Rnb, Soul as well as Latin music. Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, Boston with dual majors in Jazz Composition and Performance.

I can clearly remember sitting on the piano as a 6 years old kid and not enjoying every single minute of it. My father will not hesitate to keep pushing and reminds me to practice my piano even though I came from a non-musical family. As time goes by, playing piano has become a habit, a routine for me and up to the point where I’m older and can understand things better; I discover jazz and I realize that I’m able to express myself through music like nothing else possibly can do. Being in this place I feel like nothing is impossible. And by saying that I really mean that it is exactly why I’m standing here right now.
 
Regardless the importance of following your own passion and love for whatever it is, there are a lot of things that caused me to fall in love with music more than it was before. Jazz from my point of view is a lot like life. Many things in jazz can always be applied to my everyday life, not just individually but also socially. Jazz has a deeper meaning rather than just simply a style of music. It seems like it’s just another world where anyone can go to and all kinds of people come together. Meeting new people and playing in a same band is like learning to adapt to the community and environment, giving space while playing music is like giving respect to your own creativity and respects others too. I also think that the most important thing is the ability to connect with others and I’m quite sure that music is a really good ‘tool’ for that.
 
I will continue to grow being a ‘never-stop-learning’ musician and I’m looking forward to be able to create music that is truthful and meaningful in the future. I would also love to share my experience, bring joy and lifts people up through my music.
