This week’s DJ Mag weekly podcast comes from the incredibly talented Julian Jeweil.

A mainstay of Minus, Form, Plus 8 and Cocoon, Jeweil has been building quite a name for himself in recent years.

Last year he was the No.1 best-selling techno artist on Beatport. As well as that, his productions currently hold 6 tracks in Richie Hawtin’s Minus Beatport top 10, too.

A self-confessed workaholic the French producer has several releases riding high in the charts including his ‘Destination’ EP on POPOF’s Form imprint.

Elsewhere, he's just released a remix of Matador’s ‘The Enemy’, which is the debut release from Matador’s newly minted Rukus imprint and, last but not least, there's an excellent a remix of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann’s ‘Fuego’ that all feature in the mix.

He’ll be in Ibiza this season too, having secured a slot on Carl Cox’s final ever show at Space playing back-to-back alongside his partner in crime POPOF.

Suara label boss Coyu first snatched up Spanish producer Bastian Bux in 2015 with his debut EP and has kept close relations with him ever since. Now, the two talents have teamed up for four tracks that make up a brand new EP called 'Sons of Suburbs' which is set to arrive on Suara on December 11. Off the collection, we receive 'One Nine Five', a fluttering, demanding track that explodes out the gate, properly showcasing both Coyu and Bux's impeccable handle on heart-pounding techno.

As you know, Yoshitoshi has been based in DC since its inception, and we're kicking off the new year with a set from arguably DC's best club - U Street Music Hall.  This place has all the makings of a proper club.  Great sound, good energy, amazing staff, and no pretense.
