She was really there. An eternal body which moved and weaved between the walls long after everyone had left the club. It was as if her very spirit lived within the brickwork which made this house a home. Perhaps that is what it was, her home.

Wendy was her name but it could be anything to anyone given the time of day. For she was all things to all people - a happy smile, a guilty conscience, a careless whisper, a slow dance, a wild romance. She was a moment in time - a vision in the midst of the night only to be forgotten as the sun rose. She was everyone's ghost...

Çâline With C is set to release new music on Electrifying Impact - a raucous EBM infused record destined to bang in the small dark rooms for which it was intended for. Intricate and heavy at the same time, this one will do just fine on the floor.

Anna Dubowick’s sophomore EP on clipp.art is an intense lean into ambient, IDM and leftfield electro, moonlight by an affectionate tribute to her adopted home, the West Coast city of Angeles. Each track unravels like a dear diary entry, dark seduction and sweet melancholy mix as she digs deeper into her own re-invention. “Elsewhere” like LA, is a place where anybody can arrive and become whoever they want to be. As long as the sun is shining.

1. Sunset Blvd
"An ode to the city itself, Sunset Blvd captures the soul of Los Angeles - a sprawling, contradictory, and electrifying metropolis where energy pulses through everything and everyone. 
It’s a vibrant dance of life, a reminder that in this city, possibility is infinite. Like a scene from Terrence Malick’s "Knight of Cups" : You see the palm trees? They tell you anything's possible.
You can be anything... do anything... start over."

2. Elsewhere
"Transport yourself to a radiant, sunlit day in Los Angeles, where golden rays dazzle your face, and a gentle breeze tousles your hair as you cruise in a convertible. The warmth of sunlight graces your skin, while the gleaming reflections off the car's chrome blind your gaze. 
In the air, notes of cedar wood and vetiver mingle with the delicate aroma of niche fig, perfectly paired with a sparkling glass of champagne at Chateau Marmont. 
A serene calm envelopes you, broken only by the sprawling view of the city from the hills - a subtle reminder of the bustling life just beyond the horizon.”

3. Witch
"A plunge into a mysterious nocturnal realm, where slow motion unfolds under the glow of neon lights reflecting on a vintage leather coat. The distant echo of heels clicking on the pavement stirs curiosity, enveloping you in an atmosphere heavy with intrigue. It’s an ode to the liminal - a space where reality and dreams blur, much like in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive. 
Here, you find yourself entangled in dark seduction, tinged with a sense of sweet melancholy - a hypnotic dance that lingers in the subconscious, leaving you suspended between the known and the unknown.”

4. Sundaze
"Enter a luminous haze where the sun blinds so intensely, it renders your surroundings almost imperceptible. Details blur as your eyes are drawn to the sparkling reflections of water in a pool, high above.

A project both exploring the unknown and challenging the standard, Caline with a C creates music created in both interdisciplinary and intercultural actions - emotional experience and soundwave are the main focuses for Caline (aka Kamile), a student studying for a master degree in Sonology. In her own words: “I am a DJ, composer, performer, researcher and basically open to any kind of mentally, emotionally Direct from the Hague (via Vilnius, Lithuania) comes your new favorite darkwave artist - Caline With C. This alias was created for the reason of experimentation, as a free space for exploration of the unknown, both in the outside world and within. Emotional experience (which often works as a strong drive and motivation to the artist) and soundwave are the main focuses for Caline with C (aka Kamile), now studying Sonology in a master program.
In her own words: “I am a DJ, composer, performer, researcher and basically open to any kind of mentally, emotionally and acoustically stimulating activities. All my world turns around sound. I believe that “in the beginning, there was sound…”, therefore learning to talk and understand the language of sound has been a true delight.” This ethos comes across in the clear experimental versus intuitive approach at play on “Once in a Blue Moon”, with tracks that were recorded approximately over a period of one year. Her influences vary widely from musique concrète, industrial, bass, hip hop to dub, breakbeat, house, techno. The resultant 5 pieces move from ambient through darkwave, footwerk and bass with motifs of funky percussive house scattered throughout (courtesy of Kamile’s beloved Quasimidi Rave-o-lution 309), and is a pleasure for lovers of sonic experimentation.
