Meg Ward is an underground DJ not unskilled at pressing the play buttons. Combining house, techno, disco, garage and hip-hop with high energy and a huge personality into her sets. This energy for mixing styles and attitudes is baked into all three original tunes presented here on her “Meditate EP”. One part 90s dance throwback, one part prancing renegade funk, mixed with high hints of euphoria, merging in a trilogy of breezy motivational-hug stomping nude-at-dawn-dancing tunes. With strong looks like this we can’t wait to hear what comes next for this Newcastle resident.
