What do you get when you combine Yellow with Wiggle? If you said Greg, Sam, Emma, or Tseha, you would certainly be right, but for today’s riddle the chocolates go to anyone that answered “YAOB”. 
Hailing from vibrant crossroads of Lebanese and African heritage, YAOB is a producer and creator doing his thing in Melbourne Australia. Already a prolific producer working with artists including Baker Boy, Miss Kaninna, and Jerome Farah, YAOB now opens the account on his very own artist project via the glorious Yellow Castle of our clipp.art imprint. 


His vibe for funk rhythms, chunky beats, heavy basslines, and just as heavy doses of F.U.N, are all front and centre on debut single “Oxygn”.  Ensconced in a world where cultures converge and rhythms ignite the young producer plants his flag with an absolute wiggle fest of a tune. Wigglier in fact than the all iterations of The Yellow Wiggle combined, and with the right amount bounce - exactly an ounce to be precise. Oxygn isn’t exactly a sound we’ve come to champion in the past, but if you ever met YAOB and the sheer fun that comes from cutting shapes whenever this one gets thrown on speakers cemented a place on the walls in our beloved La Casa de la Giallo. Following the critically acclaimed release of their debut album Channels in March, London-based electronic duo Kassian deliver Channels: Remixed — a complete reimagination of eight tracks from the original record, revisited, deconstructed, and reassembled entirely by Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers-McCabe themselves. Out September 4th, 2025 on !K7 Records, this album presents a new lens on the tube warm, sample-based sound of Channels which among others caught the attention of the likes of Pitchfork and Mixmag and was selected for Dior’s Fall 2025 Show. Channels: Remixed dials for movement, momentum, and polyrhythmic exploration, reframing their most personal material to date with the energy of the club in mind.

Where Channels reflected Kassian’s 2019 origins as a duo with its texturised, warm sonics based on live instrumentation, field recordings and sampling, this new remix album repositions that material firmly in Kassian’s present sound world. It reconnects with the raw, barrier-breaking energy of their more recent body of work, where acid, bass, polyrhythm, breakbeat and techno drive the musical narrative. It’s a pivot from reflective storytelling to physical intensity.

Channels: Remixed transforms the album’s core ideas, placing them into a more kinetic space. Tracks are stripped down, warped, and rebuilt with a harder edge and meticulous sound design. Eight out of the original twelve tracks have been reinterpreted and designed for the club, exchanging some of the original album’s softness with skillfully crafted propulsive drums, searing basslines, chopped vocals and electro-heavy synth work.

On Spring (Club Mix) an optimistic-sounding core synth melody leads the way as groove and string elements unfold around it. Sun (Club Mix) erupts into a polyrhythmic percussion storm, while on Metro (Club Mix) chopped vocals float through the dense fabric of relentless, bouncing drums and roaring basslines. Sitting atop a steady, head-shaking breakbeat, an uncompromising, forceful bass rolls from low into high registers, beaming the listener into new spheres on Sunset Park (Club Mix). In a similar tint, Peech Blue (Club Mix) constantly plays with the liminal range between the dark and the light, flipping from the more psychedelic ends of bass music to warm, vocal-driven crests only to then drop back into the central oscillating subbass sitting underneath the 2-step beat. The energetic, forward-pushing groove on Joss Bay (Club Mix) feels like galloping along the coastline as waves hit the shore. Limoncello (Club Mix) and Mockingbirds (Club Mix) pull things back into the warmer, more playful hemisphere. Carefully interwoven pads paired with discreet synth arpeggios lay the ground for a calmer side of the remix album. Throughout their eight reinterpretations, Kassian rework not just the tracks, but the emotional framework, replacing quiet introspection with bold, body-moving statements for those healing moments on the dancefloor.

With Channels: Remixed, Kassian bridge past and present — distilling the emotional depth of their debut album into a sharper, more physical form, all while completing a conceptual loop: from early sketches developed over five years ago to a debut album that captured grief, transformation, and beauty — and now a full-body rework that points to Kassian’s continued evolution reminding listeners of their artistic versatility at the cutting edge of the UK’s electronic underground.

Seb Wildblood’s ethereal single Insomniac Crossing featuring Eli Dayo receives a dancefloor-ready makeover from Berlin-based, British producer Blossom Hill, out September 4th.

The electronic artist, quickly becoming known for exploring the intersection of textural house, detailed electronica, and club-focused IDM, transforms Wildblood’s dreamy original into a club-focused cut while preserving the track’s emotional core. Featured in DJ Mag, DMY, Mixmag and Kaltblut Magazine, Blossom Hill brings his genre-fluid approach to one of the standout tracks from Wildblood’s upcoming album “Waterworld” (October 19th).

The remix offers a development in Blossom Hill’s sound, more stripped back and dancefloor focused than his previous work but decorated with his signature hyper digital sound design. His take maintains the lush atmosphere of Wildblood’s original while injecting the kinetic energy that has teased Blossom Hill as an exciting newcomer in both Berlin and London’s electronic scene. It marks another chapter in “Waterworld”, Wildblood’s most introspective and sonically expansive project to date.

Spriitzz (aka Spray) and Regularfantasy capture the last rays of Summer on a new single for Gudu.
 
Based in Berlin and Montreal respectively (dance music’s top two cities on the brutal winter to creative output axis? Could be), Spray and Regularfantasy first linked up in Australia as mutual fans of each other’s music, before collaborating on a remix of Regularfantasy’s ‘So Sweet’ last year. After bonding over their love of 2000s dance-pop, this naturally transitioned to writing some original material – and here we are. 
 
Co-written with Regularfantasy’s bestie Kristian North and inspired by the idea of a Mediterranean summer love affair, ‘Honesty, Honestly’ was honed over two years of sessions. In their words, you can expect “perky pianos, high energy basslines and lovesick lyrics, fulfilling our dying wish to dovetail songwriting (“real music”) and dance-music (“canned music”). We’ve put a lot of time and love into this genre-melting banger.” 
 
We try not to fall too hard into cliche when describing music like this, but come on: it’s nostalgic, it’s romantic, and it sounds like it was shot with lens flare permanently on the screen. It just sounds like a Summer fling, and we fell for it from the first demo.
