Philoxenia Records, led by Luigi Di Venere, and Neu Verboten are kicking off anew era of dance floor heat with Fire Tracks Vol. 1—the first in a series of
compilations built for fantastic club moments. This selection brings together artists from across the world, all connected by one thing: their ability to set a dance floor on fire. From Japan’s Guchon to Mexico’s Nuevo Prohibido to NYC’s own Justin Cudmore, the lineup spans house, techno, and trance—each track blazing with heat as we move around the sun.

Visually, Fire Tracks Vol. 1 comes to life through the work of Johannes Bosisio, a contemporary artist whose striking artwork captures the pulse of the music. His vision turns sound into image, translating the compilation’s energy into something you can see with your eyes, and feel on your skin, as vividly as you can hear.

PREMIERE: Neu Verboten - Candas Soul

Anna Dubowick’s sophomore EP on clipp.art is an intense lean into ambient, IDM and leftfield electro, moonlight by an affectionate tribute to her adopted home, the West Coast city of Angeles. Each track unravels like a dear diary entry, dark seduction and sweet melancholy mix as she digs deeper into her own re-invention. “Elsewhere” like LA, is a place where anybody can arrive and become whoever they want to be. As long as the sun is shining.

In Anna’s own words:

1. Sunset Blvd
"An ode to the city itself, Sunset Blvd captures the soul of Los Angeles - a sprawling, contradictory, and electrifying metropolis where energy pulses through everything and everyone. 
It’s a vibrant dance of life, a reminder that in this city, possibility is infinite. Like a scene from Terrence Malick’s "Knight of Cups" : You see the palm trees? They tell you anything's possible.
You can be anything... do anything... start over."

2. Elsewhere
"Transport yourself to a radiant, sunlit day in Los Angeles, where golden rays dazzle your face, and a gentle breeze tousles your hair as you cruise in a convertible. The warmth of sunlight graces your skin, while the gleaming reflections off the car's chrome blind your gaze. 
In the air, notes of cedar wood and vetiver mingle with the delicate aroma of niche fig, perfectly paired with a sparkling glass of champagne at Chateau Marmont. 
A serene calm envelopes you, broken only by the sprawling view of the city from the hills - a subtle reminder of the bustling life just beyond the horizon.”

3. Witch
"A plunge into a mysterious nocturnal realm, where slow motion unfolds under the glow of neon lights reflecting on a vintage leather coat. The distant echo of heels clicking on the pavement stirs curiosity, enveloping you in an atmosphere heavy with intrigue. It’s an ode to the liminal - a space where reality and dreams blur, much like in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive. 
Here, you find yourself entangled in dark seduction, tinged with a sense of sweet melancholy - a hypnotic dance that lingers in the subconscious, leaving you suspended between the known and the unknown.”

4. Sundaze
"Enter a luminous haze where the sun blinds so intensely, it renders your surroundings almost imperceptible. Details blur as your eyes are drawn to the sparkling reflections of water in a pool, high above. 
Laughter echoes, people gather, and a soft breeze brushes against your sun-warmed skin, carrying a hint of sweet sophistication. In this fleeting moment, life feels perfectly aligned - like you’re exactly where you’re meant to be, in a harmony so delicate it threatens to slip away before you can fully grasp it.”

Jones&Roth love to cook both in the kitchen and the studio, and with The Menu, they serve a full evening’s experience. It begins, as many great evenings do, with a quiet reunion.
„Lange nicht gesehn“. A glance across the table, a shared memory, a familiar warmth. The conversation flows, playful and hungry – Fish and Chips, I Wanna Eat.
As the evening unfolds, the flavors deepen. Curry brings heat, Biang Biang adds texture, and Garnelen für Zwei speaks of closeness, shared bites, and unspoken things. There’s spice in the air, maybe even Shakshuka bubbling gently in the background. Somewhere, Alberto from Pipaso tells a story – his Verdegang winding through herbs, gardens, and time. Later, the mood shifts.
Jungle vibes - Sick Pad Thai lands on the table with bold confidence, while Halloumi offers dubby comfort in contrast. A Ketks between sips, sweet and unexpected serving the trippy contribution to the night. Then instrumental trap infused Dessert Fendi to finish and to put you into your dreams.
Finally, a last surprise: a remix of Curry, reimagined like a digestif, lingering on the palate and in the mind by fellow cooking friend Julian Bainbridge. A carefully curated evening of house and heart, playful details and polished taste.

A quietly vital presence in Italy’s underground electronic scene, Nicola Penna — better known under a constellation of aliases including Future Jazz Ensemble, Nico Disco, and Nasty Boy — returns with a new chapter under his NBI moniker: Alphawaves, a four-track EP of introspective, deeply musical club material on Burnin Music.

Drawing on the dreamlike textures of early Italian deep house and the emotive pulse of Larry Heard’s productions, Alphawaves is an ode to mood and movement. Each track feels spiritually guided — a reflection of Penna’s rare craftsmanship as a multi-instrumentalist, and a welcome deviation from over-quantized electronic music.

These aren’t just club tracks; they are meditations in rhythm. Opening with lush pads, loose percussion, and warm basslines that recall the golden age of Italian Dream House, the EP also carries a timeless, soulful energy found in Penna’s previous work for labels like Sähkö, Native Tongue, and Ten Lovers Music. The tracks unfold patiently, inviting dancers and listeners alike into a space that feels both intimate and cosmic.

Despite a discography that spans over a decade and several underground classics, Penna remains something of a well-kept secret. Alphawaves is a perfect entry point into his world — understated yet powerful, rich in detail, and impossible to pin down. At once nostalgic and futuristic, this is house music with a human touch.

Essential listening for fans of Larry Heard, Don Carlos, or anything that blurs the lines between ambient, jazz, and deep house.

Sinceer is a Chicago based artist carving his unique imprint on dance music.  His track ‘EMP’ is both pensive and full of suspense, yet it still manages to find its way into a full-on burner.
