Louis started mingling in music in his very early teens and he used to play the drums as a youngster. By the tender age of 16 Louis bought his first mixers, vinyls and amplifiers and started DJ’ing at house parties. At this very young age Louis became a household DJ name in his home town.

Louis kicked off his music career by playing Funky Progressive House in the late 90’s. Music infiltrated his existence and it all fused together when he bought his very first vinyl from Lady Lea, in the DJ Syndicate shop, Sunny Side. This was the day music made a definite dent on his life. 

In 2003 Louis successfully managed to secure the position of in-house DJ at Cyber Café in Nigeria; Abuja. This is where his style progressed to Deep/Mid-Tempo/Jazz House Yfm .

For a period of two years he travelled, explored and discovered the music scene in Nigeria. Louis listened to Hi-life bands like Fela Kuti and collaborated with Hi-life bands at a variety of clubs and bars from Lagos to Abuja. This exposure to the rich African music culture has had an immense impact on Louis music style and nature.

In 2005 Louis moved back to his native South Africa where he performed at the uber famous Side Walk Café in Sunny-Side Pretoria. This was a hangout for the elite with an array of artists and influential musicians soaking up the music surroundings, declaring Sunny Side as their local hangout. Louis collaborated and worked alongside names like JD BOB (206), CHRIS P and PALEDY also known as Lucky Strike.

Presently Louis produces the most influential, high-ranking Deep/Tech/House/ music set around events like: In Deep & Decked Out and clubs including Stones Centurion VIP and Club 91 Cape Town.
