I'm still experiment with different approaches to create my music, so this is a small piece based on a percussive theme. It may feel like a journey in search of unknown, undiscovered places...

Since I'm slowly returning to classical guitar, I wanted to use it as the lead instrument. I decided to use all the dirty guitar plays and experiment with different ambient sounds and of course, with the piano :)

This song began by Steve writing it on his acoustic guitar, singing it, and passing the recording on to me to share with the rest of the Eclectic Collective. Tez was first to add his complimentary guitar in his typical expert fashion. Ken then added his very tasteful drums. Soon after. I worked my bass part until it was dialed in. After the Rhythm section was solid, JJ came along and sprinkled his organ magic throughout. Then, for good measure, I added some lap steel, too.
  Of course, every great song needs a great producer, and Tez was the man for the job on this one. Steve is a fantastic singer and songwriter. We all feel very lucky that he so generously shares his talent and work with us. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

This was a minor hit by David Soul (1943-2024) somewhat 40 odd years ago.  In fact I covered this a couple of years back but I was not happy with the vocals and the recording was put aside. basic copyright on all tracks.
all of the tracks on here are made with a 12 track boss digital recorder.      to make some sounds more spacious such as the main chords and melodies i have to use 2 tracks at the same time. this is why i try to keep my tracks short because i can only use a limited number of sounds. if i use 2 tracks for bass, drums, chords and melody it only leaves me with 4 tracks for effects and secondary melodies. i prefer to record only one sound on the channels allocated as this avoids problems with volume levels.  i'm not a great musician, but i am also not very good with computers, so this is the only way i can demonstrate my musical ideas.  a big thank you to everyone who listens and comments.........and especially those who like.
