Zoe is one of the brightest stars on the contemporary jazz scene. A vibrant and highly individual pianist and composer, her style is deeply rooted in
jazz yet it reflects her classical background, British/Bengali heritage and her very broad musical taste.


>> drei << nennt sich das Würzburger Jazz-Studenten Ensemble, bestehend aus Isabelle Pabst (voc), Michael Reiß (g) und Sevi Krieger (p, synth). Mit dem Wunsch die Kluft zwischen gelebtem Jazz und geliebter Musik anderer Genres zu verbinden, schlossen sich die drei Mitglieder des bayerischen Landes-Jugendjazzorchesters zu einer ungewöhnlichen Formation zusammen. Die Besetzung fordert kreative Kompositionsweisen und öffnet Spielraum für allerlei Experimente.

Das Repertoire setzt sich zusammen aus Jazz-Standards, Singer/Songwriter Liedern, sowie manch ungewöhnlicher Bearbeitung bekannter Reaggae und HipHop Songs. Der persönliche Bezug zur Musik steht dabei im Vordergrund, ebenso wie die hochwertige musikalische Darbietung. Musik kann nur berühren, wenn sie von Herzen kommt. Und dabei dürfen/müssen alle Wurzeln außerhalb des Jazz aktiviert werden.
