Tel-Aviv based producer and Sadan co-founder Request Lorraine presents his second release, ‘Acrylic Honey’, on Sadan Records this September.

Eric Varshavsky is a classically trained producer, DJ, and artist who strives to approach electronic music from a new, original angle - both celebrating and undermining the unwritten rules of electronic production, producing in return highly eclectic, genre-defying music. His 'Acrylic Honey' EP sees him return to his Sadan Records imprint, which aims to support local artists who focus on contemporary music production and visuals without being bound to a specific style or aesthetic.

Acrylic Honey’ is a high octane leftfield techno EP, channelling many different sources across the club music spectrum. This release incorporates unusual song structures and sonic experimentation - in a way that remains loyal to club music. Acrylic Honey offers equally familiar and alien yet hard club tunes by meticulous exploration of previously uncharted sonic grounds and principles, with a very particular psychedelic tinge.

Danceable as much as they are trance-inducing, making for an EP that can be experienced in different ways.

Today we are proud to announce In-house label 'Another Name's second release 'Et Andet Sted Tribute Album - AN01'. A collection of 22 tracks from artists who have played or been connected to the former DIY rave club in the old vegetable market of Copenhagen, a place called “Et Andet Sted”. The release stretches out and explores the diverse outer reaches of what Copenhagen underground scene is all about, starting with distorted experiment sound, four-to-the-floor house, signature fast techno and trance euphoria.
The album comes in two fully packed CDs with the artwork which will tickle some warm memories of countless hours spent o the dancefloor of the club. The compilation album will also be available in a digital version.

About the club: Et Andet Sted was a unique free space for creative souls, DJ’s and ravers. The place for this sonice parallel universe existed for eith month only but it gave the birth to many new inspirations, music carriers and friendships. It was demolished due to gentrification. It is and will forever be missed.

About the label: Another Name is the in-house label of Copenhagen based nightclub: Ved siden Af, The music representing the sound of the club, the artists that frequent our space and the culture it supports.
