Johnny Blackouts stumbles up to the bar with Jake Childs in tow on this Deep House bender titled LOVE DRUNK on the up & coming imprint, 4E&A Records out of Fresno CA to wet your whistle! You’re gonna want to open a tab!

Right out of the gate you’ll notice the sonic prowess of Adam Warped creeping in under his “Johnny Blackouts” Deep House moniker on the Original Mix, “Love Drunk” which features the infamous Jake Childs on vocals to remind you why you’re here. “The Love…The Music.” Dizzying and perfectly placed percussion give way to cloudy synth memories that will have you reminiscing of club days gone by.

Next up is another original piece by Johnny Blackouts. “Swig”
begins with a long pour of funked out drums to get you off your barstool and meandering towards the dance floor. Haunting soft stabs and a bubbly bassline will have you ordering another round of this unique, devil’s share of a jam.

Life of Marvin is a Joint Venture between Manfredi Romano (aka Dj Tennis) and Marvin & Guy (Italo Deviance’s Marcello Giordani and Alessandro Parlatore), these crazy Italian diggers went deep into the most obscure Italian Techno tunes from early 90’s and what they discovered was quite amazing.

There was a huge club scene in Tuscany during the mid-90s called “Progressive Techno”. L.O.M. aim is to explore the sounds that preceded that movement
The first EPs are giving new light to Tracks taken from the original catalogue of the Interactive Test Record label owned by Franco Falsini, that became key figures in the Italian Disco scene since early 80s (see Italo-Hit “Electra feat. Tara Butler – Feels good”) and the brother Riccardo.

That label was the incubator of the whole pre-Progressive movement (1991-1993) and the first releases are coming from great djs and producers like Roby J, Francesco Farfa, Gabry Fasano, Marco Calderoni etc.

The music genre is impossible to define properly… just give it a listen.
This is the 1st Volume with monster dance floor tracks by Roby J and Sick Hardcore.

Over the past three years Melbourne’s Albrecht La’Brooy have patiently cultivated their own space within Australia’s proli c electronic music scene. Deeply rooted in techno’s ambient in uences, the duo improvise their compositions with an overarching approach that breaks away from techno’s conventional presentation.

‘Family Horror X Good Times’ is an extensive 15 tracks compilation, where the label reflects on an intense and impassioned decade. We asked close friends and long time idols to play their part to the full to complete the third edition of the label’s Family Horror compilation series. Nathan Surreal returns with another EP for Biologic Records. ’A Change Of Heart’ is due for digital-only release on June 29th.

‘A Change Of Heart’ is a cathartic peak time workout full of radiant vocal bursts and ricocheting percussion. ‘Kanakotoba’ is a blissful ambient stepper full of dubby echoes and crisp percussion. For his remix of ‘Where Were We’, Lord Of The Isles brandishes warm, expansive pads amongst sharp broken beats.

On the same day as this EP, the label will also release a vinyl-only EP featuring a joint effort from Nathan Surreal and Herzel, with further remixes by Marquis Hawkes and Lord Of The Isles.

The french maestro is surely in your favorite producers top 3 producers list. Nicolas Chaix delivers the goods since the mid 90s. From inventing French House (see „Disco Cubizm“ with the help of Daft Punk for reference) over the massive 12“ dancefloor-madness of „Prophetization“ to the perfect warmup track „Falling“ he manufactures dance music that is unpretentious, classy and most of all: eternal. In a nutshell: we are true I:Cube disciples. He twists „Hurting“ in a heartfelt way. File under Melancholic House. For the hard working DJ - Bonus Beat included. The second remix is delivered by good mate Benjamin Fröhlich of Permanent Vacation fame. He turns „Nektar“ into a frenzy acid disco smash. Now? Relax. Dancing is for later.
