Clone Crown ltd series continues with some Detroit electro funk! For those not familiar with Erik Travis let us introduce him briefly. End of the 80's when Atkins just started his Metroplex label there was another guy doing electro and funk inspired futuristic dance tracks, Erik Travis. Erik Travis released in 1987 as Sound Of Mind the cult classic 'Programming' and some other obscure records fusing electro, 'techno' and rap. Somehow Erik Travis disappeared until the late 90's when he returned with his own label FACT records, and tracks on Databass and Metroplex. Till today he is one of the most unique characters in Detroit just minding his own business, making tracks that sound (quote) 'like no-one before him or after him'. Fast paced vocal electro funk with tracks such as Rollin' Through Time, Techno Drivers that are true classics. Here a new 4 track ep that sounds like no one before him or no one after him!

In the shadowed hills beyond the old monastery, where vines strangled pillars and silence lay thick as dust, there existed a forgotten garden — one not marked on any map. They called it the Garden of Stone and Scale.

Nobody knew who built it. Local legend claimed it had once been a sanctuary for ancient artists, or perhaps a temple to gods whose names had been eroded by time. But everyone agreed on two things: the statues were unlike anything else in the world, and the snakes were always watching.

Mr Ho is invited in to remix Adam Curtain on a new EP launched off the back of a new record label from the Love International crew. This one focusses on the slightly darker, moodier undertones of club culture.

Our seventh release brings together versatile club cuts sitting between house and trance. Familiar faces return — Tifra, Gearmater (fka Abdul Raeva) — and newcomers Olsvangèr and Earth Trax, each adding their own weight to the release.

“Clubfoot” on A1 — precision disguised as ease. The Estonian duo deal in pressure, not excess: a thick, rolling bassline, a bubbling acid line, and dub-warmed undertones glowing beneath the surface. Soft, delayed chords drift in and out like vapour, grounding the track in that classic dub techno haze. Reborn under a new name, they sound recalibrated and ready — gears turning, momentum building.

“The Body Radiates” is Earth Trax at his most direct. High-speed 303s coil through off-world, high-definition textures — bright yet tightly controlled. Crisp, hard percussion keeps the pressure constant, while flickering vocal chops cut through the mix with a distinctly ’90s pulse. It moves with purpose, gliding through the breaks and tunnelling toward the peak.

A Flash! — and reality folds. On B1, Olsvangèr delivers a pristine, meditative trip: razor-sharp percussion, a bassline built to unspool the mind. It’s lean, focused, and quietly hallucinatory. Proof he’s fast becoming the go-to for tripped-out house.

“Monolith” by Tifra signals a bold return - a deep, club-ready roller that hums with fizzing percussion, trippy, widescreen FX and a lead washed in echo that keeps everything in motion. It’s crisp, transportive, and unmistakably Tifra. Keep your ears open — the full EP’s on the way.

Berlin’s ZentaSkai returns to his Mask Records with the ‘Billie’ EP, collaborating with Palawan, Jeremy Reinhard, and Thomas Grün for release on vinyl only, 21st November 2025. He kicks oﬀ with the solo cut 'A1', which is quick, sophisticated, raw House with a funky clip to the beats that diﬀuses heat in the grainy sustained pads. It brings sereneemotional release through stylish hypnosis and gorgeous vocals that blend seamlessly into the mix.

Next, ZentaSkai collaborates with the mysterious Palawan, as he did on one track of his 2023 album The Architecture Of The Mind, on 'A2.' This one suspends you in backlit synth glows while rounded drums and funky claps tap out the supple rhythm. Cautious hope comes from the quiet chord stabs and soft focus melodies in what is a masterclass in deep Techno minimalism. 

'B1' reunites ZentaSkai with Cologne's Jeremy Reinhard following previous cuts on that same 2023 album. Reinhard has long been a pillar of his local Berlin scene as a resident DJ, but also the wider underground with his own label Lekker Record. Their track taps into dub depths but ups the pace and allows radiant synths to piece the surface next to muttered spoken word that keep it intimate and perfectly seductive for body and mind. 

Last of all is a collab with Austrian Thomas Grün, who has been shaping deep and Tech House with his immaculate grooves for decades. Their 'B2' brings US garage snares to buoyant drums and douses them in layers of fuzzy synth warmth. It's meditative yet direct with an ever-rising sense of hope that makes it all the more indelible.
