Surprising release by Gerd on the Basement Series with an old classic themed techno track he found on a dusty DAT tape while archiving some old recordings. Somehow a traditional techno track with metalic basslines, stellar string sounds and retro futuristic vocals with a classic theme... time & space. The original slower paced version did get an reshape/makeover that gives it a 2011 update that will be a standard record in the box for many! Remixers on duty are Rotterdam's Duplex duo who are back in business and deliver two remixes. Timeless tracks that will stand out between all dj tools!

PO FOLK sees Berlin newcomers make a welcome return to Klasse Recordings, their second EP for the label is a stripped to the bone work-out of all killer no filler.

PO FOLK comes in two versions, the 'HATE' version kicks off with distorted kicks and stabs before dropping to a devastating buzzy bassline. Techno and House in equal form, the track is perfect mix of light and dark. Vocals come courtesy of the group themselves, re-voicing a classic track that might be familiar to some.

The 'LOVE' version brings some melody and warmth into play, but still retains all the analogue fuzz and nastiness. MPC style sample cut ups ride the beat and transport the track to another heavy bassline and vocal chat.

Berlin based Panorama Bar favourites, Analogue Cops join the ranks of Klasse Recordings with a unique take on the title track. Playing out as a live jam session, the Restoration Records duo dub out the original parts and turn in a version that is as relentless as it is intriguing. Heavy on the bass and with double the weirdness, their interpretation is sure to cause havoc on any willing dancefloor.

Wrapping up the EP is 'Black Widow', an atmospheric and dynamic track that builds slowly before introducing a huge sub bass. Reduced to only the most essential of parts, 'Black Widow' is sure to play out well in any forward thinking DJ set.

With L.I.E.S. 50th official release, London's Randomer appears as the first British artist to release on the label with his 'Residents' EP. 

On this EP we get three out there diverse tracks with the title cut being a moody rhythmic, heads down yet upbeat percussion driven affair. 'Jakobs Dream' steps into the abstract tweaked out techno world, while 'Huh' which fills the entire b-side is a massive massive electro cut for the floor.

HEAD MASTERS TWR72’S SEQUEL RELEASE ON FLOAT RECORDS IS CALLED 'DEFORM'.

Their journey to examine the perfect groove continues with these two straight forward tracks. The original Deform infiltrates onto the lower parts of the groove where the spacious tom bass challenges the main percussion bass. As a result, an uncommon groove appears, which gets stimulated by an suddenly appearing unusual sound continuing throughout the track.

The linear version is even more stripped down to the essence of the grooves purpose. The obvious title refers to the broken down and straight forward character, however without losing the focus of the original.

During these days where lo-fi analogue house productions seems to be the it thing, its time to dig out a release by one of the true pioneers of house music. Not an outsider but one of the names thats been around forever and thats known for several timeless house classics. Almost 20 years after its original release date we are happy to share this forgotten and overlooked gem by Roy Davis Jr. - Roy's Chicago Basement Traxx.
Originally released as 4 track ep on Kumba Records, but we thought it was appropriate to shine some light on our three favorites, Chemical Warfare, Jack Da Rhythms and Broken Machines. Three dirty, raw, jacking and most of all intense tracks, that are among the best things that came out of Chicago. Jerking rhythms, hypnotic synths and live arrangements stripped to the bare essential! Endless respect to Roy Davis Jr. for being such a versatile and inspirational producer.

Oh and this one is not changing hands for big money (which we see so often as sales argument). Untill recently it actually always used to be pretty cheap on Discogs ;-)

Clone Classic Cuts serves another cult Italo disco classic! Gorgeous female vocals slapped on that lovely 80's synthesizer/drum programming. This is one of those releases that easily makes it into the top 50 of all time greatest italo disco songs. Produced by Roberto Ferrante (also known for his Pinneaples project) and originally released on the obscure Airport label in 1984. We managed to restore and re-master the original versions and the lovely 'Paris' mix. On top of the original versions we serve you a new re-rub by italian Italo specialist Bottin (Eskimo, Artifacts etc). Bottin did a great job with a new crazy soundhack mix that cranks up the energy level and makes it more jackin. Pretty amazing when you realize that these tracks are making people dance for 28 years now. More then enough reason for a proper re-release on high quality vinyl. Enjoy!

The Tiga/Zombie Nation supergroup returns with another blast of cortex-sizzling electro-funk. Featuring a remix by Nautiluss.

The latest single off the PARTYS OVER EARTH LP romances the grindstone with five and a half minutes of hard labor in the Analog Mines. 

"This extended 12" version is meant to honor the spirit of the Working Man. It is the product of two pairs of hands getting hands-on with the machines, pumping out the jam and punching out the clock," says Tiga, the man who puts the "T" in ZZT, and the "H" in Chaos.

The release also features a remix by Nautiluss, the new techno alias of Thunderheist's Graham Zilla. Look for his amazing Turbo debut EP, due in early 2012.

And while you're looking for that, look for Work Pt. II, which includes remixes by The Advent & Spiriakos, Gingy & Bordello, and Norman Nodge.
