However their sound is perfectly produced and meets the tooth of time. Boris Bunnik is a prolific producer based in The Netherlands who has consistently created incredible electronic music across multiple styles as Versalife, Conforce, Severnaya and Vernon Felicity building a wide fan base and widely regarded as a master of the trade with records produced for highly respected labels including Rush Hour, Delsin, Frustrated Funk, Clone and Further Electronic. Following the magnificence of his debut album ‘Manifold’ on 20/20 Vision he now returns with his second full length album ‘Chronoception’.

Chronception sees Bunnik expand from rigid electro beats (Polyshron) into more freeform excursions featuring liquid breakbeats layered with rasping synths (Perceptual Time Dilation), futuristic soundscapes (Altered Sense), intricately woven random sequences featuring tight drum programming (Oculus). Bunnik always manages to elicit emotions from the machines with an extraordinary amount of feeling poured into the circuits until each song tells a story from the melancholy of Equilibrium to the future worlds of Clairvoyance.

Very reminiscent of early F-com releases and our own harbour city duo Duplex's early works on Dub and Clone Records.

It had began with small, trivial suggestions - changes that she could manage and adapt to quickly. They weren't life-changing, purely superficial or aesthetic, but soon enough these asks became bigger. He was trying to mould her into something she wasn't. Challenging him wasn't an option, she didn't like to go against the grain, rather she preferred to keep quiet and stay in line. 

Since launching back in 2016, Melbourne-based producer and label boss Louis Marlo has used his Felt Sense Recordings imprint as a platform to share his own creations with the world. Though there has been a four year hiatus since Louis' last two releases, this serves the label's ethos of prioritising quality over quantity. His third outing, Who Wants Alchemy?, is no exception. Coming complete with a remix from Lou Karsh AKA Reptant, the 5-track release blends electro, IDM and techno, at times calling to mind the more stirring side of Carl Finlow's productions through its glistening melodies, warm basslines and processed electronics.
