Collective Visions is a compilation album by the PLF Producers, a group of talented musicians who share a similar vision: to keep alive the spirit of the movement started by Derek Vincent Smith through music and art.

This project, organized entirely by the artists themselves, was conceived in early 2021 as a way to encourage collaboration between artists. Each producer was randomly assigned a partner to collaborate with. Given no prompts or restrictions to shape their art, these 14 producers have created a diverse project through nothing but their love for music and respect for one another.

We hope you enjoy this project as much as we enjoyed making it.

Grand Alliance Music is thrilled to announce the signing and debut release
from @ClosedLoopMusic, the innovative electronic music project helmed by multi-instrumentalist and A&R for Interstellar RabbitHole Collective aka Charles Miller. 

His inaugural single with the label, "World of the Rave," drops Friday, June 27, 2025, marking an epic milestone in the artist's evolving sonic repertoire.
"World of the Rave" showcases Closed Loop's distinctive blend of glitch hop, experimental bass, and 140 BPM rhythms, creating a track that is simultaneously fun, chill, glitchy, and mysteriously funky. Drawing from years of experience as a drummer, Miller delivers rhythmically dynamic expressions that extend seamlessly across multiple electronic sub-genres, positioning
him alongside contemporary artists like: Of The Trees, Duffrey, Tygris, ATYYA, and Thriftworks.

"Closed Loop is a cumulative journey into music, navigated through my own thoughts, ideas and perceptions projected into sound," explains Miller. This philosophy permeates every beat of "World of the Rave," offering listeners an immersive experience that balances accessibility with experimental edge.

The release represents a significant career moment for Closed Loop, who has already established himself as a formidable live performer with notable appearances opening for Maddy O'Neal, Michal Menert (x2), Russ Liquid, and SoDown, plus a main stage performance at Glow Hard Festival 2024. 

His strong emphasis on chill/glitch/trip-hop, combined with his unique ability to traverse multiple styles and genres, makes him a versatile and compelling addition to Grand Alliance Music's roster.

In early 2017, Amani Friend re-envisioned selections from his rich Liquid Bloom catalog to deliver new downtempo compositions into a contemporary electronic space. Subsequent to that Re.Generations release, Canadian producer AtYyA selected seven of the album's tracks to put his own spin on them. 

Crafting whole new worlds around Liquid Bloom collaborators Poranguí, Deya Dova, Ixchel Prisma, Numatik, Rara Avis, and more, Tyler Clark generously imbues his signature tribal tonic into these works, for a mysterious and pulsing fresh spin on these re-imaginings -- one that balances the lightness of Amani Friend's remixes with an intriguing, contrasting darkness. 

Never before have Black Swan and Desert Trax released an entire remix pack by one artist taking on another. This is truly a look behind the curtain at two innovative and truly groundbreaking artists.
