Christoph Faust’s journey in electronic music began 15 years ago: for him, stagnation is not an option. Over the years, he has introduced several alias projects, each showcasing his evolving artistry. The alias „Escape To Mars“, which made him first gain international recognition with his distinctive spacey techno sound. Then, a blend between his two passions, rock and electronic music, gave birth to the project „Inhalt Der Nacht“.

After five successful years with „Inhalt Der Nacht,“ Christoph sought greater musical freedom, desiring to create and perform music based on inspiration and emotion without being confined to a specific genre. Now performing under the name Christoph Faust, he continues to surprise audiences with a diverse range of sounds, from techno and house to ambient and breakbeat, always focusing on delivering an unparalleled dance floor experience while pushing creative boundaries.

With over two decades of experience both as dj and producer, he is today a reference in electronic music, being techno his true passion. He was voted best Portuguese DJ of this style, for several years, and his unique sound, taste, and technique, granted him a position on some of the best mega events like Awakenings (Holland), Evolve (Canada), Nature One (Germany), Rock in Rio (Portugal), Syndicate (Germany), Ruhr-in-Love (Germany), Tecnolandia (Portugal), Aquasella (Spain), Liberty White (Belgium), Decibel (Holland) and clubs like Tresor (Germany), Fabrik (Spain), Row 14 (Spain), Moog (Spain), Panama (Holland), Makumba (Spain), Poema (Holland), U60311 (Germany), Inox (France), Locomia (Portugal), Rocks (Portugal), Kremlin (Portugal), Pacha (Portugal) and many many more.

His first record came out in 1995, followed by the creation of his two most remarkable projects from the 90’s, Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet Records, where he released his next EP’s. Later, In 2005, he started his new label Naked Lunch Records, a true bold project, featuring the best techno artists from the planet, with amazing feedback from DJs and fans. 2012 sees the relaunch of Onh.Cet, joining his other projects Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, The Light e Xtractz. Was also co-founder of MPC Distribution with Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and Michaelangelo.

A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records, several mixed CD compilations released in labels like: Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhythm, Italo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, Impact Mechanics, and has remixed artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Orlando Voorn, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, DJ Preach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz and many more.

Modern hypnotics from a new techno star.

It's a tale as old as time: techno DJ moves to Berlin to chase a dream. Philippa Pacho is part of the latest wave of talent to tread that familiar path. But don't let that fool you. She's one of the classiest artists around—no TikTok gimmicks here.

Pacho's formative years were spent in her native Stockholm, navigating a vibrant DIY party scene that included warehouse raves and illegal parties. She eventually took up a long-standing residency at beloved local club Under Bron and the experience, as she details in this week's Q&A, sharpened her technical skills, teaching her to handle every type of set—whether opening with patience, supporting a headliner or closing with finesse. She also played with countless touring DJs, from Answer Code Request to Antony Parasole, which ultimately inspired her move to Berlin.

That relocation has firmly paid off. It's a testament to Pacho's talent that you'll find her playing pretty much every big club and festival across Europe, from Berghain and Dekmantel to FOLD and Monument (we were exhausted just looking at her upcoming listings on RA). Other recent highlights include closing out Bassiani's tenth birthday, and back-to-backs with Fadi Mohem and Sandrien. 

Pacho's RA Podcast showcases her preference for classy, hypnotic techno, striking a balance between muscle and subtle groove. Her aptitude for what makes dance floors tick is also evident on her two labels—Phorum Records and positivesource (co-run with Blue Hour)—both of which mirror her DJ style, blending intensity with delicate textures. positivesource has released several standout records, including this year's "Psycho" by BLANKA and Phil Berg's "Psyckik" (which you'll hear on this mix). 

Spanning 70 minutes, RA.980 is a window into Pacho's thoroughly modern sound (the oldest track is from 2018). And yet it retains a refined, sweeping quality. Give it a spin and you'll soon twig why she's in demand on dance floors worldwide.

Championing a sound both highly intense and surgically precise, the Argentinian DJ and producer has us surfing a rogue wave of frenzied analogue funk, sci-fi-informed industrial pound and proto-electroid impulsions. Not one for the faint-hearted, Zisko’s mix is galloping techno at its most eruptively driving and merciless, bound for heavy-duty, mid-set apexes and hi-impact mosh pits down the basement. Total smasher beware, this one’s cut from the heaviest alloy.

You're hardly going to believe this, but Ebullience is yet another new label from Burnski. The tireless Brit already heads up the likes of Instinct, Pilot and Constant Sound and makes music under various guises for all of them as well as recruiting plenty of interesting and like-minded producers for their own releases. This one kicks off with Bedfordshire's Danny Snowden, who brings the vibes across four cuts of minimal, large and tech. 'Sky Is The Limit' is a feel-good and sunny cruiser, 'It's Not Over' has 90s soul and depth and 'Stick To What You Know' comes with retro-future basslines and big pianos. 'Ri Thum' shuts down with some timeless US garage that is always going to get the 'floor going.
