A familiar face across both Hottrax and Hot Creations, Italian DJ/producer Paul C steps back into the fold this summer with a sharp two-track release that taps into his roots while staying focused on the energy of modern dancefloors. Marking his third appearance on Hottrax and second solo EP for the label, ‘I’m Ready You Ready’ brings together rolling rhythms and classic influences with a modern, high-impact edge.

“I’m proud to return with a new release on Hottrax, part of the Jamie Jones universe I've had the pleasure of being involved with over the years. This EP features two tracks with a similar style but different vibes. The first track, ‘I’m Ready You Ready’, is a tribute to the '90s house sound that made me fall in love with clubbing, but with a more energetic and modern groove. The second, ‘In The Back’, also draws from that old school vibe, but explores a more club-oriented side of it. I'm really happy with the energy these two tracks carry, and I hope they’ll transmit the same feeling to you as they did to me in the studio.” - Paul C.

Known for his groove-heavy sound, Paul C’s studio work has appeared on a host of influential imprints, extending beyond his releases via Jones’ labels to imprints such as Elrow, Moon Harbour, and Knee Deep In Sound. With his tracks regularly in rotation for names like Marco Carola, Carl Cox, and Luciano, this latest EP sees him keep things moving in style as he delivers two distinct takes on the sounds that shaped his early journey, now reimagined for today’s clubs.

Fresh from the Balearic haze, Neapolitan duo Shokë return on 
their imprint SHK with ‘Tape Ibz ’97’ – a dusty, groove-soaked 
cut that channels the raw spirit of late-90s Ibiza dancefloors.
Combining stripped-back percussion, hazy atmospheres and a 
hypnotic swing, ‘Tape Ibz ’97’ evokes the feeling of forgotten 
cassette sessions and open-air afters at the edge of the island. 
It’s a tribute to the freedom, the salt, the sweat – the real IBZ.
After the success of their debut ‘BT’, this second drop continues
the duo’s vision: music with no compromise, built strictly for 
the floor.
