After a remarkable remix out last year on Family Piknik, San Francisco duo EMANATE makes its debut on our label with two mind-blowing tracks. Split Light is a peak time Techno cut playing with cosmic synths, while Flux shows a deeper and darker mood. Running its own label Mioli since more than a decade, the American duo has already proved it has a very special approach in their music. For this EP, remixes are courtesy of regular Family Piknik players. French producer Albanø delivers an impressive Melodic Techno remix with additional elements to emphasize the groove and the hypnotic aspect of things. Italian's producer JA:CK, known for his proximity with Cocoon, drops a mental version to get lost on by the middle of the night... From deep to peak-time Techno, this EP has many tastes for you to experience.

Estonian-native Urmet K has steadily established himself as a firm fixture amongst London’s immense underground circuit. Blurring the lines between melodic, moody, and hypnotic, Urmet has been sweeping the house scene with his signature style that is brimming emotion and depth. Passionate by House & Techno since his childhood, Albanø has started mixing in 2008. Involved with several local crews in his home town of Saint-Etienne (France), he then created his own party concept Bisous alongside with Oliver Wood & Mood Gorning. These parties quickly got a solid reputation, with a national echo in medias. Season resident DJ for famous entertainment group La Folie Douce, Albanø is a skilled DJ assuming his love for a wide range of electronic music, but when he’s in the studio, he shows up other intentions. After opening his discography on Italian label Atum, he worked hard with his studio mates Moog Gorning & Bloody Shelby (now known as Pontias) to give more consistance to his productions. Since a few years, he’s found a smart balance between House & Melodic Techno, taking inspirations deep from his heart to add personal emotions to his natural taste for dancing music. His tortured textures and solid grooves have already caught many top labels’ attention (Bar25, Time Has Changed, Radikon, Dear Deer, Récits de Mars) before he joins famous French festival Family Piknik artists crew in 2019. Releasing his first solo EP ‘Odace’ on Family Piknik Music allowed him to showcase his unique sound trademark to a larger audience. Early October, his track ‘Syntagma’ opens up a new compilation on Several Definition’s label Recits de Mars, along with international promising newcomers. One more step in Albanø’s musical trip and an other opportunity to share his unique musicality with a worldwide audience.
