Blending the styles of his Aussie roots with his European influences, producer, mixer, masterer and performer Hoopla bids farewell to his homeland with this latest production on his own imprint, Tempus. After honing his techno pallet in a bass heavy music scene, this clash of sounds and identities rings true with Shakshuka. 

Inspired by global artists like Andhim, Acid Pauli, Rodriguez Jr. and Monolink, Hoopla now looks to continue his journey as he makes a fresh start in Europe this summer.

On remix duties we welcome the amazing German / South African duo LADS for their MNL debut. They take the title track in a mystique and mysterious direction and instantly show why they are one of the hot names to watch at the moment. Berlin based Ed Ed is a producer and DJ of 20 years who has released his his unique house sounds on imprints including Watergate Records and Exploited as well as, most often,Moodmusic. 

Here he joins forces with German three piece, Chasing Kurt, the revered production outfit who’s music has been at home on Suol, Defected, Peppermint Jam and many more. ‘Naked Walls’ is a stripped back and wonderfully warm production, built around subtly uplifting melodies and understated drum programming, all of which provides the perfect base for Chasing Kurt’s emotive and beautiful vocal performance. This has the feel of a future classic from the off with its heartfelt musical progression and touching lyrical content.
