Clotheslined is a four piece Blackened Hardcore band from Naarm aka Melbourne, Australia. The bands sound is a mix of hardcore and thrash influences with an altogether darker aesthetic drawing on the black metal genre. The band consists of Joel Parnell on vocals, Mick Harwood on guitar, Michael Parnell on drums and Tyler Shadlow on bass and backing vocals.

Following the success of their self titled EP in 2024 with singles ‘Death From Above’ and ‘Breaking The Irons’, the band have returned in 2025 with their most cerebral offering to date, ‘Writhe’. The lead single from the upcoming ‘End of Days’ album is a powerful amalgamation of hardcore, sludge and post-black metal, representing a milestone in the development of the bands unique and dynamic sound.
