On this months episode I was delighted to invite Berlin based Kaan Pirecioglu on to the show. Kaan has made some immense progress with his career so far. Within only a few years he has managed to put out two amazing releases. With his latest on Italy’s Methodical label, which gained incredible support from some of the leading players in the scene. 

His infectious grooves and signature production qualities are one that cannot  go unnoticed. His next release, a Split EP with Berlin’s Elias DE on our very own platform 22 is a fine example of that. It was really just a matter of time until this enthusiastic artist joined me on the series.

In our interview we cover kaan’s inspiration for the music we love and the production software he uses. Plus a special 1 hour guest mix from the man himself.

• Formerly one half of a live duo, Oliver emerged as a self-titled solo artist in 2016, the latest electronic project conceived by London-based DJ and producer, Oliver Gibson. Born from within the capital’s neglected walls and spaces, the project was formed around an intersection between Post-Punk, EBM, Darkwave, Industrial Techno and Rave. Building a loyal following throughout the London rave circuit, Oliver established his name through his high-energy sets capable of moving any dancefloor. Working with a DIY aesthetic, Gibson’s intentions as a solo artist centre around a non-purist approach, a resistance against convention. Debut material has been teased through recent sets and recordings, with surfacing remixes and edits further shaping an industrial direction, both in studio and on stage.

External factors can really affect our mental state and bring out our most different feelings. We did a special selection of sound vibrations to influence a certain hypnosis passing by calm and relaxation, to physical expression, anger and fury.
An intense journey straight to the dancefloor, 'Mental Influences' our 6th release, a purpose of sound therapy made by 16 artists splitted on 14 tracks including 2 collaborations.

Emerging from the rave scene, NƵM 99 is driven by a dark and acid techno with heavy and powerful basses, he likes to wow the crowds with his fingertips. A hyperactive producer, he created his own label Tjalk records as a tribute to his boat on which he lives.
From his teenage years, he draws his influences from the rave party movement as well as from the tracks of Arnaud Rebotini, The Hacker, Terence Fixmer and David Carretta.
At the age of 19, he bought his first analogue machines and never stopped enriching his set up as soon as the opportunity arose.
Fascinated by the warm grain of old synthesizers, he cultivates a techno with EBM tones that bewitches dance floors.
