PEOPLE PEOPLE is the cross-genre electronic project of André Baum (US) and Gulp (AR). After a chance meeting in Berlin in 2016, Baum and Gulp spent the next years exploring their mutual range of tastes in the studio, creating a blend of pop songwriting, techno, trip-hop, and post-punk. PEOPLE PEOPLE present a fresh vision of the future with a deep appreciation of the past.

Worthless Tom creates instrumental music consisting of sophisticated drum patterns synchronized to snippets of low-fi breaks.  Commanding percussion is the driving force to his somber choppy samples and melodic synths.  He orchestrates arrangements like a symphonic composer. He is technical, but still tremendously creative. I envision myself trapped in a scene from a nail biting suspense thriller when listening to his music.  His songs are a pure reflection of his own sorrows, freedom and hope.

Inspired by the likes of DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin and El-P- Worthless Tom dove into the world of turntablism as a young teenager. Shortly thereafter he was requested to fill in for a DJ on the Warped Tour.  He steadily progressed from the turntables to the beat machines and never looked back.
