long-time friends and former members of arbor vitae tim campbell, chad viator and ryan deJean have gathered up the pieces of their collective musical past and thrown them into the light and dark of their present days to create something familiar yet altogether new. the recordings posted here are intended only as a reference point for where the group has been -- join them live to hear where they are going.


Brooklyn-based musician Jenny Tuite writes and records as Cloud Cover– an outlet for her dark, brooding, droning tendencies.

Recorded in glimpses over the past year, Cloud Cover’s ‘Mirror Me’ is the debut album of multi-instrumentalist Jenny Tuite. Sparse instrumentation, droning ethereal & ambient passages are coupled with the songwriter’s ability to create eerie hypnotic moods through sound.  The dark intensity of the album is offset by its warmness; Tuite’s voice a ghostly texture, guitars delicately picked like tree-branches.

Cloud Cover makes fragile and haunting music, which has been described as "Organic Electronic" - a blend of slow, clanging guitar strumming, distant echoing drums, and melodic chanting, juxtaposed with tape experiments and electronic manipulation.
