"Ladiez Drink Free" is the dynamic trio of Mariposa, Drupe Jam, and Perna. These three Florida-raised DJ’s met in Brooklyn, immediately bonding over their passionate experiences through music and how much it means to them. Since beginning to playing collectively in 2022, their sound has become known for its eccentric vocals and hypnotic basslines, resulting in a controlled chaos that entices you. Their individual eclectic tastes find common ground in the ability to create unexpected sets that are flirtatious yet grounding, alluring yet bracing, and unpredictable as they are nostalgic. They recently began a new residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club, where they aim to deliver monthly on their motto "Great Rax, Great Trax." This mix, recorded using 2 turntables and 2 CDJ 350s, showcases their love for blending various eras of music, wandering through classic yet fresh sounds.

Hailing from Geneva’s vibrant electronic music scene, Owelle unveils RDX_CLB, her latest EP set for release on May 23rd in both digital and 12” formats. This third release on Creaked marks a bold step toward the dancefloor, featuring two original tracks and remixes by Ma Sha and Nite Fleit. Known for her distinctive fusion of breakbeat, IDM, and techno, Owelle delivers a high-energy, rhythm-driven collection that showcases her signature blend of experimental sound design and club-ready intensity.

The remixes add new dimensions to the EP. Ma Sha, co-founder of NYC’s acclaimed Kindergarten imprint, offers a cosmic reimagining infused with playful yet intricate rhythmic structures. Meanwhile, Nite Fleit, celebrated for her acid-laced, high-octane productions, pushes the EP into darker, harder-hitting territory with a remix that’s primed to ignite dancefloors. These reinterpretations underline the global reach and adaptability of Owelle’s sound.

With RDX_CLB, Owelle channels her experimental ethos into tracks crafted for DJs and club enthusiasts as well, celebrating rhythm, movement, and collective energy. Sticking a dirty thumb in the eye of fate, our third collaboration sees our marrow deep family malarky turn official as Pace Yourself teams up with YS’s own imprint Erf Records for a split release. 

Burn is the second YS album and written as a direct follow-up album to Brutal Flowers. If their first album was an exercise in the incremental, a construction of poise and patience, Burn, should be taken way the fuck at it’s word: it quite literally finds catharsis in twisted reverse. Birthed out the malignant kick found in deconstruction and chaos. The hit is radical and instant: a new way for the world to go up in smoke. Cauterising infected suburban minds world over. 

Dunno quite what YS have been ingesting of late but this massively twisted LP touches on a host of gloriously fucked totemic underground sources while not sounding much like any of them. Struggling to conceal their tongues in their cheeks there’s an air of paranoia and proto-conspiracy theory. Leaving you feeling like you’ve stepped into a New World Order.  

Burn like other works by YS, is its own ritual beast. ‘Moth’, a track which has been knocking about the underground deejai circuit for many moons, is a real raw slice of stoner erotica that reeks of obsession and unrequited desire. Elsewhere, on tracks like ‘Switch’, ‘Trying’ and ‘Drift’ the throughline from Brutal Flowers can be heard. Underneath the driving heavy gravity the trademark emotional intimacies of YS linger: eternal recurrence, ghosts of static and shortwave, worn memories of the playful and painful sort. The brief moments where flashes of orchestral ambience get out from underneath the swagger are so pure, personal and unguarded that for a moment they leave you completely lonesome.
