IG. Noise - Give Me A Gun (Original Mix) [Hybrid Confusion]

With the Stride 12", @isolatedlines lays down another thick slab of contemporary and modern dance music. Swiss producer plays with the rhythmic dynamics of techno, striking a balance between avant-garde and accessible. Building cycles of beats at a constant speed and embracing difficult musical concepts.

Tracks like 'Stride' and 'Raze' are built for big rooms with a fascination for the darker end of techno, pushing the lower end to the front and creating cold, tense atmospheres.

On the flipside, 'Uphold' offers a lighter, inviting touch, while the last track of the EP 'Induce', sounds like techno eroded by time. It’s at this point that @isolatedlines' music is neither fast nor slow, permanently tense, creating a sickly expectation influenced by old industrial and purely analog synth music.

For his second release on the label, the 'Stride' EP is, for @isolatedlines, more restrained, even as its low-end bursts through clouds of distorted static. This is techno at its very darkest.

The third track on the Black Moon EP is for all those who have learned to appreciate BLACK ASTEROID´s flawless blend of uncompromising Techno. “Freeze” is another milestone production, a manifestation of the outstanding skills of this experienced sound designer who started his career as the engineer of Prince and who later formed the critically acclaimed duo MOTOR. The final mix-downs were done together with Chris Liebing at his state of the art studio in Frankfurt, guaranteeing the same sonic brilliance we are used to from all recent CLR releases.
