I've been introducing pick axes to thick granite in patterns/

in the darkened junctions of the tunnel system/
there's been whispers of a revolution under thumps of pistons/ 
I'm not seduced by the thought, well not yet at least/

not sure if I ought to be more than a cog in this machine/
