It started with a dream where I was invited on a journey into the Milky Way. There were several earth-like earths there, all of which you could visit. I wanted to capture that in this track, it's actually my favorite track out of my now over 100 tracks. I hope you enjoy listening, maybe it's your favorite track, I'd be happy.

Es begann mit einem Traum, da wurde ich zu einer Reise in die Milchstrasse eingeladen. Dort gab es mehrere Erdähnliche Erden die man auch alle besuchen konnte. Das wollte ich in diesem Track festhalten, es ist übriegens mein Lieblingstrack von meinen inzwischen über 100 Tracks. I'm fighting with this track for a long time now. First drafts were created back in 2018 august. At the moment it was a post-rock / progressive rock epic that included every trick and practice i knew about music composition. Then i stopped writing music for a few years and it stayed in it's unreleased demo form for long.

Since last year i started this new electronic project, i thought some of my older, unrealised music should be repurposed to finally come to life. I pictured it will be a quite easy task.

Well, it was an extremely hard undertaking for me to strip this one to it's bare minimums and reshape it into a more ambient / chillout sounding thingy. But i learned so much about music and myself along the way...
I've written and erased melodies and chords in this track for so long that i could have written a whole album from the deleted ideas only.

The cover art is a Midjourney generated image with a strong influence from The Fountain (2006), a movie in which a man learns to let things go and embrace fate after a 500 years long journey. I think it is rather fitting.

Believe it or not, this track was born, because i started playing with Spitfire's Christmas instruments (https://labs.spitfireaudio.com/christmas if you are interested).
While i liked the sounds, i did not like the music itself, so i started switching up the instruments and adding more and more of that Argon Antlers sauce i'm working on.

Guess this year i listened to too much deep techno, because at one point it morphed into this repetition of washed and mushy melodies and textures. I tried to use the least amount of musical ideas and then stretch them for as long as possible. I really like what it became.

Even though the sound quality is not as good as before. This time my majestic friend https://soundcloud.com/forgottendreams was not available to mix and master the music. So, I had to mix it, and I gave it to the SoundCloud AI for mastering. Honestly, I don't like the way how it sounds and thought of not releasing this until I know how to handle the mix myself, but I'm postponing my career for so long that taking a pause again would be more painful than accepting some subpar qualities.

Later, I'll make a remix to do some justice for this one. Until then, hope you'll find something in it that is worth hearing.

EDIT at 23.11.12: i replaced the audio file with a new master. It is still far from perfect, but much better than before...
