ogni affanno è vaniloquio.
Il calore del meriggio 
arraffa le erte ripide
come l'onda cerula, arrembata,
s'appiglia ai massi del promontorio
che sporge nel mare.
Fra gli oleandri fiorisce
il richiamo della quiete
a rievocare l'ode all'aurora
delle allodole.
Odo un trepestio di fronde,
lo scricchiolare del terreno
che sereno era poc'anzi.
Rintano tra i mandorli e i ciliegi 
come un uccellino intimidito
per sfuggire alla mira
del vespro cacciatore.
