Somewhere between DJ Screw and Bad Brains, De La Soul and Scritti Politti sits Houston’s native son, Fat Tony. For the last decade, Anthony Lawson Jude Ifeanyichukwu Obiawunaotu has been everywhere: from star-making turns on the first A$AP Rocky mixtape to hosting shows on Viceland and Super Deluxe, to co-founding a DIY culture magazine to playing every worthwhile rap party in America and burning the stage down every single time. A singular and experimentally-minded rap artist adept at both traditional regional styles and indie pop, hardcore thrash and melodic candy-painted bangers. He is punk in the platonic sense of the word: experimental and subversive, but also funny, whimsical, and virtuosic. 

Over the course of more than a half-dozen LPs, and countless other short-form gems and collaborations with everyone from Das Racist to Bun B, Fat Tony has reimagined and blurred the boundaries of hip-hop. There are a few things you can depend on in this schizophrenic world. About once or twice a year, Fat Tony will drop an album and it will sound like nothing that he has done before. There’s a spirit of creative restlessness and intelligence that runs through his deep discography. He is a national treasure, one of those rappers destined to seem forever underrated until you ask around and realize that everyone in their right mind likes Fat Tony. He is the Whataburger of rappers: if you know you know. 

Raised in Houston’s historically black and culturally radical neighborhood, the Third Ward, Tony’s mom and teachers educated him from the get-go about how this was the regional cradle for the Black Panther Party -- and how BP hero, Carl Hampton, was murdered by the Houston Police Department. It was an environment where social awareness and Pan-Africanism were always around and celebrated. His childhood home was filled with records—country music, King Sunny Adé, and Jimmy Cliff from his father’s collection, his mother’s classical music, rock, and soul, and his granny’s gospel. Then as a teenager, empowered by the internet and his discovery of independent artists like E-40, Bikini Kill, and Bad Brains, Fat Tony began recording and distributing his own music. Heavily influenced by renowned Texas rappers like UGK and Scarface, Fat Tony started playing and organizing live shows at a time when there wasn’t much of a scene for young artists in Houston. He started booking bands of all types from all over, hand-making flyers for the shows and mailing them to addresses nabbed from the Carnegie Vanguard High School student directory. 

His dedication to Houston’s rap scene earned him Houston Press Music Awards’ “Best Underground Hip Hop Artist” in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2013. Primed for more national audiences, Fat Tony began taking his music on tour and collaborated with more artists around the country. His sonically unpredictable and emotionally vulnerable music has garnered praise from Pitchfork, The Fader, and Noisey. His achievements in rap have pushed him out of his comfort zone into other performance and hosting opportunities on TV and the Internet. This fall, Fat Tony releases Exotica on Carpark Records. It heralds his most visionary work yet, an ode to the art of storytelling through music. A rich and compact iteration of rap short fiction that firmly establishes him as his own one-man genre, the preeminent post-modern griot shooting game.

If Channing Elizabeth Paul is the adroit, singer-songwriter with a gift for catchy melodies and playfully audacious lyrics, then alter ego SoBE LASH is the animated, out-sized personality that delivers these genre-bending, urban punk/pop arias with the electric verve and feverish energy of a crazed ringmaster.

Though she often cites contemporary artists like P!nk and Beyonce as influences, Channing also frequently references the cutting edge, pop music of icons like Debbie Harry of Blondie and “all time favorite” Michael Jackson. The attitude, confidence and musicality that is the common denominator of these successful pop acts absolutely pervades the LASH sound and image however; she has built on these attributes by incorporating the slick swagger of hip hop, the raw energy of electronic and punk and the glam-sexiness of the 80’s.

Born in Houston, Tx, Kay Jay was raised in the Spring Branch area, although due to a troubled, drug-infused youth, he spent over 5 years incarcerated in TDCJ for crimes committed before making a drastic necessary change. Since his 4 1/2 years of a rehabilitated life back home, he has completed an Associate's Degree in Music Business as well as starting his own Clothing Line/ Recording Studio called C10ud LLC. His music is inspired by the trials and tribulations he has faced throughout his life from beating multiple drug addictions, being robbed for everything he had and losing both his mother and father from terminal illnesses and almost losing his own life after a 5 day coma from a drug overdose. He definitely has a real story to tell and hopes to inspire others in life by sharing his experiences through his #1 passion... MUSIC!!!!

Kay Weathers emerges with her freshly polished sound consisting of guitar and keyboard loops, along with a powerful message that only comes with time and experience.  Her femme fatale delivery derives of influences varying from Fionna Apple to the soundscapes and atmosphere of Radiohead.  Her inspirations come from her own personal relationships in life. The upcoming EP compromises of introspective songs about heartbreak, death, and friendship.  The music is alluringly haunting with ambient undertones, and the vocals take on a siren's song quality, enticing the listener then guiding them through the sometimes sublime yet heavy-hearted consequences of losing love.

Gio Chamba, from Houston Texas, has a movement of explosive, Electropical energy, channeled through a unique blend of multicultural influences spanning from Electronic Cumbia to Hip-Hop and Nu Boogaloo. After releasing his debut solo EP "Chamba", he was awarded with the 2015 Houston Press music award for  “Best Dance Music Act”. 

His vibrant character, groovy beats, and radiant energy on stage brought him noteworthy praise, which lead to a partnership with Houston's most dynamic conguero Coffee Guzman, who is a front man in his own right.  In 2015 and 2016 they have performed at Houston's biggest music festival, Free Press Summer Fest, along with Untapped Festival, CMJ Music Conference (NYC) and has opened up for Los Lonely Boys, Making Movies and Hurray for the Riff Raff in Kansas City, as well as touring acts like, Caravan Palace (France), OZOMATLI (L.A.), Dengue Dengue Dengue (Perú) , Natalia Lafourcade (Mexico) twice, Las Cafeteras (LA), Nicola Cruz (Ecuador) and Nina Diaz in Houston. 

In Mid 2016, they brought in Producer/Dj, Svani Quintanilla a.k.a. Principe Q from Corpus Christi, to co-produce their newest album "TEJAS", set to be released in the summer of 2017. 

They kicked off 2017 with a Super Bowl Live performance in downtown Houston and have released their latest single "High Rider" in late February (available on all platforms), along with an official music video for it.

Guilla-Guilla is an avid gamer and anime fan - a facet often reflected in his music from the surrealism, to the often operatic soundtracks of many anime productions. It's something that real inspires him, the creative worlds and universes create a landscape for his ideas to flow.
After recording 3 projects: "FYI Volume One," "The Failure," and "Super Novas" (all unreleased do to dissatisfaction of the final Product) Guilotine signed to Cloudopolis Entertainment and began to receive the guidance and structure he needed to released his first single "Gravity" in 2013. Accompanied by a close friend and fellow artist from Houston, Kenno Supreme.
Guilla has just released is sophamore EP, "Rap, Trap, and Drums" to a eager fan base and great reviews by several publication around Texas. Mark Drew- After high school Mark began audio school in 2010 at age 20, so he could continue his craft without the issues of paying for and waiting on studio time and production.
 
He was able to get on at Krunch Thyme Studios in March 2012 as an engineer/producer. Later moving into iMix in November 2012 and that is still his current situation. A perfect spot, has put him in a position to work on projects with local artists as well as Guilla, Pyrexx, and various members of Swisha House.
 
Finally, He got back to being an an artist within the last year after putting it on hold to grow as an engineer/producer.
 
Influences include Kanye West, Pharrell, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., Michael Jackson, & Quincy Jones. Texas pioneers such as Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Bun B, & Slim Thug.
