#challengeaccepted: Alive is a project that aims at raising awareness to the increasing amount of violence that women+ face in different forms in their daily lives. In Turkey, more and more women+ are facing brutal forms of misogyny every day, facing harassment on a daily basis; rapes and femicides are being normalized by the current system and these kinds of violence are becoming a normal state where women feel themselves even more helpless under the law.

Just as many of the human activities, experiencing music is a shared form of action that has a strong cultural interest with the cultural background of the society one belongs to. As an expression and a manifestation, electronic music has a connecting as well as antithetical strength that mostly shade into a form of becoming one. In that regard we band together as artists from Turkey and from all over the world to break the silence. We are inviting everyone to stand in solidarity with women in their struggle.

100% of the collected funds will be donated to Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation.

Cosmic Minivan is the new hypnotic techno single from Berlin-Toronto producer Princess Century, aka Maya Postepski. The pulsating riff, creepy synth lines and a relentlessly throbbing beat evoke memories of long sweaty nights dancing in seedy clubs. The darkly erotic atmosphere of pain and pleasure will resonate among those familiar with Postepski’s work as co-writer in TR/ST. 

This track is the music to The 1970s inspired music videothat features a seductive horror narrative with Postepski appearing as The Killer.  The video, directed by Laura Hypponen, was shot in Berlin and Thailand, on Super8mm film, in a bloody homage to the legendary Italian horror maestro, Dario Argento. Happy Halloween indeed...

Scottish duo Clouds will release their new album, 'The Parallel', on 22 January, 2021.

Their third album, The Parallel spans an array of styles and tempos, rich with atmosphere and sophisticated tonalities, pinned together with blistering drum work.

The 16 tracks were originally split into two halves, with 32 files being uploaded as distorted noise onto Acronym’s RMT01 laptop, owners of the laptop could find a set of instructions detailing how to combine the corresponding tracks and process them to expose the full album via phase cancellation. It's up to Violet to step up to the plate for our final podcast of the year. The Lisbon-based artist, honcho of the naive & naivety labels, co-founder of Rádio Quântica ánd co-organizer of a queer event series called mina is one the main faces of Lisbon's exciting and blooming underground music scene.

Her mix is a textbook example of elegant and controlled chaos, going from electro to bass to rave, leaving us on a high tension for 60 minutes. We couldn't close the year any better if you'd ask us.
