Synergy - that's what the selection of Marcus Wachter and Jens Böhm stands for. The Munich-based duo complement each other perfectly, whether with soft, melodic sounds or techno-trancy primetime bangers.
Both grew up in the same tiny village in Bavaria and Both grew up in the same tiny village in Bavaria and always shared a fascination for electronic music and its culture. Due to the lack of clubs in the area, they started organizing their own events early on. Becoming DJs themselves soon became inevitable, and so the “Wachter & Böhm” project was born.
Their sound has been evolving constantly and yet always retains a clearly defined vision of electronic music.
Nowadays they regularly play in clubs in southern Germany (Bahnwärter Thiel, Palais, 100Hz, Soho) and release their own music on well-established labels like Alula Tunes and Subios Records.
Their productions are defined by distinctly designed stabs, dreamy pads and crispy drums. Floating somewhere between Peak-Time, Minimal and Psy, they are a skillful combination of current trends and the exploration of new directions.
