There is absolutely no let up in the tempo coming from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. After a sensational five Beatport #1s this year alone, the Belgian superstars get ready to let rip with their latest hit single ‘Stampede’. As ferocious and as unrelenting as the name implies, the track is a collaboration of mammoth proportions with Canadian producers DVBBS & Borgeous, currently conquering the charts with ‘Tsunami’.
 
Kicking off with a sumptuous run of chords and arpeggios that deliver shivers and goosebumps in abundance, it’s not long before the track erupts with the high octance bassline force these artists are world renowned for. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have done it again, this time with the incredible new track ‘G.Y.P.S.Y.’, co-produced with rising Italian duo Boostedkids (Dany Spada and Frankinelli) and set for world wide release on Smash The House on November 11th.

The single, which originally debuted as part of the official Tomorrowland 2013 After Movie, is a sensational blend of traditional gypsy music, haunting flutes, wind and string instruments which are juxtaposed to perfection against a thundering, driving, sexy-as-hell beat absolutely brimming with funk – guaranteed to bring the biggest of houses crashing down as it powers out of international speaker systems.
 
News of ‘G.Y.P.S.Y.’s imminent release comes just days after the announcement of the pair’s forthcoming collaboration with Borgeous and DVBBS, ‘Stampede’ (due November 18th on Spinnin’ Records), and signals the sheer volume of music set to come out from the Belgian brothers over the coming months. As if ‘Ocarina’ couldn’t get any better, today Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike announce the vocal version of their huge international smash, with none other than UK chantreuse Katy B on vocals.

Katy, who won the 2012 NME ‘Dancefloor Anthem’ Award for ‘Broken Record’ and has released a raft of hits from chart-topping album ‘One A Mission’, is widely known for collaborating with EDM producers including Magnetic Man, Geeneus and Zinc. Now she lends her distinctive voice to ‘Ocarina’, taking one of Dimitri & Mike’s most popular tracks to a whole new level.

The track, which was a co-production with Smash The House protégés Wolfpack and was the inaugural TomorrowWorld Anthem, topping the Beatport Top 100, has been a massive fan favourite since it featured on the 2012 Tomorrowland After Movie soundtrack. With the original edit shooting straight to the #1 position in a matter of days, it now remains to be seen if having Katy B on the vocal mix will give the brothers the massive cross-over mainstream hit that seems increasingly on the cards.
