Next up we got a 2 hour ride into music delivered by Bogotá via NY badman Tomas Station. Tomas has been an avid cannabis enthusiast since an early age so for him it’s a privilege and an honor to get the chance to accompany your smoking with some proper chunidge! The artwork is a painting from his uncle Andres Garda Peña from 1997.

Jazz Mix 5 here, just in time for warm summer nights, with a Latin Jazz / Afro Cuban / Mambo focus. This was extremely fun for me as I knew very little about these genres and had a lot of fun exploring them and compiling over the past few months, though I still feel I've hardly scratched the surface. The stories behind some of the musicians are absolutely legendary, like the Palmieri brothers or the king himself, Tito Puente. This mix takes you over a 20 year time span from 1952-1972, with some classics of the genre and a few lesser known albums. I hope you enjoy!

It was time for a new one! I listened to a lot of records I had never heard before for this, and also included some favorites of course. The format is similar to the first one, I like doing blocks of 2-3 songs from a particular album or group, and Bill Evans is always great to start with. The time period is roughly the same, late 50s through the 60s, though it ends with a bit more experimental works from Pharoah Sanders from the 70s. Although it's almost an hour longer, there is a bit less variety of artists because lot of the pieces are longer ones, all really great works in my opinion. Topper has been a long friend and fellow artist with those on our roster and myself. Standing within the same ideology as we do as a group, the quality we stand for and above all, the moral code: respect to others and to our music, humbleness, dignity and a sense of togetherness by being part of this amazing unit of friends & music lovers. 

The Club Der Visionaere resident, hosts the infamous Noisy Glance party and together with Daniele Papini he joined Sleep is Commercial a few years back and became one of the djs/producers on which the label's sound in productions and parties is focused on. He is also a resident in all Sleep is Commercial parties in Berlin.

Moving to the infamous Pausenraum studio was the definitive shift into a jam based creative process through a hardware setup, whose outcome has been the foundation of the Dead Rail and Triptease project-labels.

The last couple of years he has also focused a lot on live performance, at first with the Triptease project with his lifelong friends Jacopo and Francesco, soon joined by their buddy Hugo. Together they came up with the idea of Mescaleros, a cutting-edge experiment with different performers joining into the live improv jam of the likes of Ambiq, Cesar Merveille, Ion Ludwig, Daniele Papini, Silent People, Yonatan Levi and Greg Paulus among others.

The Mescaleros project has already been performed in iconic venues such as Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse in Berlin, Fuse Club in Brussels, Studio 338 and Red Gallery in London etc etc.) and delivered hours(up to 17!) of powerful beats and sparkling musical ideas.
