Klint returns to CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ EP.

French DJ and producer Klint follows up his ‘Immersive Culture’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ two-tracker. After having made his debut with the Klint project in 2021, he has made a significant impact in the Techno scene already, with an impressive list of releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, RSPX, Truncate and many more, as well as support from artists like Rodhad, Blawan, and Dave Clarke.

Klint’s ‘Kaos Temple’ on CLR boasts tumbling techno chords, building in anticipation as atmospheric sound effects dart about the mix above, subtle but sturdy rhythms guiding us through the track. ‘Dethroned’ continues, drum machines punching through as hard-hitting claps catch you off-guard. Its infectious low-end crawls below as cavernous synth melodies rear their head occasionally, making for tantalising drops perfect for mind-warping dancefloor frenzies.

Arriving on transparent blue vinyl, the fourth installation of Figure’s Hardspace series brings six new re-interpretations of Len Faki’s favorites via his Hardspace alias.

Starting with a true classic, the gem that is Josh Wink’s Sixth Sense picks up on the original’s tight plastic groove and creates some serious low end rumble.
A less obvious choice, Aoki Takamasa’s minimalist dub from Japan, gets a complete makeover in the Hardspace edit, using driving percussion to morph the pensive blueprint into an upbeat peaktime slammer.
One of the most iconic basslines of the last decade, DJ Yoav B’s Energize is a standout on its own but paired with the relentless groove of the high-energy Hardspace remix it unlocks new levels of rave potential.
Huxley’s Weapon 3 was maybe one of the darkest tunes ever released on the otherwise house-centric catalogue of UK label Aus, which Len Faki already played back when it was first released. The Hardspace Mix merges a feeling explosive force with the originals sultry ambiance, catapulting the track back onto today’s dancefloors.
Colourful, dubby synth stabs are what keeps the momentum on peak time roller Funktion by French producer Tuttle, which in its Hardspace version packs even more heat, as Faki employs his signature claps and tunes up the original’s enervating siren sound, squeezing out every last drop of energy.
Originally released in the 90ies, Mike Parker’s Shakuhachi Two is as techno as it gets. Only now sounding even more powerful and dynamic, as the Harspace Mix keeps all of the original goodness while stacking additional propulsive percussion for a sweaty floor workout.

Björn Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ EP kickstarts CLR’s 2025 with three pounding Techno tracks 31st January 2025. From the razor-sharp percussion and raw bassline power in title track ‘Binary Fate’, to the cavernous dub hits and shadowy atmospheres of ‘Fear of the Unknown’, before closing on the mind-warping signals of ‘Lost in Transmission’ - Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ is yet another supersized debut on the seminal CLR.

Following Björn Torwellen’s appearance on the CLR podcast in June 2024, the Cologne-based artist now definitively joins Chris Liebing’s label with the ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker this January. With a career spanning over two decades, Björn is known for his discography on labels like De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and now CLR.

The Southern returns to CLR with the ‘B2basic’ EP. The three-track EP includes a remix from Chicagoan Techno legend DJ Rush.

The Southern returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR this March with the ‘B2basic’ EP, following his two-part ‘Particle’ EP on the label in 2024. Up first is title track ‘B2basic’, a fully-charged cut laced with a wigged-out acid line, primed for peak-time club action. Then comes Chicago’s DJ Rush with the remix, a thrashing interpretation defined by layers of syncopated high-hats whilst a brooding synth guides you into a sense of warehouse rave nostalgia. Lastly, ‘Beg It’ works stripped-back, snare-rattling techno loops to create mesmerising space and depth for the closing track.

The Southern’s high-grade techno has gained support from industry heavyweights like Robert Hood, Ben Sims, Amelie Lens, and many more on impressive imprints such as Truncate, On Edge Society, Kneaded Pains, and, of course, CLR, on which he has become one of the label’s leading artists.

Chris Liebing comes back to his CLR label this April with the ‘Phantom Rider’ EP, already supported by Daniel Avery, GiGi FM, Jon Hester, and more. The first track, ‘Kaizen’, doesn’t hold back - pounding drums, cavernous dub chords, and a razor-sharp snare-laden groove all play a part in this peak-time offering. Kicking things off is the one and only Dubfire who delivers a rework of ‘Dismantled Structure' unlike anything we’ve heard from him before as he channels the aesthetics of quintessential Dub stylings reminiscent of Deepchord and Echospace fused with a cutting edge, modern approach resulting in an absolute burner that will stand any test of time. Markus Suckut follows with his unique approach on ‘Dirty Daddy’ where heaviness reigns supreme as hefty percussion, hypnotic rhythms and swirling atmospherics culminate into a far flung journey into the vast expanse. Taking a slightly different approach yet never losing the energy, Developer dives further into ethereal spaces with his re-imagining of ‘Flashes In Your Eyes’ where he weaves psychedelic harmonies and mesmerizing grooves into a trance inducing roller perfect for intensely deeper moments. Finalizing the remix package we turn to +plattform, one of Norway’s best Techno artists, who delivers an absolutely gorgeous rendition of ‘So Far To Go’ where abrasive drums and washes of reverb lay the groundwork for a cut where emotion takes center stage creating a beautifully crafted tune that will in equal measure melt hearts and forge unforgettable memories.
