Say What? 191 is the last release of another exciting year for the label and we wanted to close with a huge bang! Therefore we are happy to welcome Swedish techno producer MarAxe with a stellar EP called 'Pyramid'.

The title track starts off with MarAxe’s typical rolling, raw and unforgiving energy. Chords emerge from the deep and build up in perfect sync - a true testament to the power of raw techno in its purest form, a reminder of the genre’s origins and glimpse into the future.

'Subatomic' is next up on the release and doesn’t let the power fade away, weaving a narrative of dystopian futurism with driving rhtyhms, intricate synth patterns and undulating basslines just the way we like it.

'Larma' follows with an unrelenting onslaught of pounding kicks and hypnotic sequences mixed with an abrasive fusion of metallic clanks and surgings synths, pushing the boundaries of sonic intensity.

'Jura' is the last track of the EP and a declaration of techno’s unrelenting spirit and a praise to the power of raw and unfiltered sound with its hypnotic groove and rolling explosive energy.

Klint returns to CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ EP.

French DJ and producer Klint follows up his ‘Immersive Culture’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ two-tracker. After having made his debut with the Klint project in 2021, he has made a significant impact in the Techno scene already, with an impressive list of releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, RSPX, Truncate and many more, as well as support from artists like Rodhad, Blawan, and Dave Clarke.

Klint’s ‘Kaos Temple’ on CLR boasts tumbling techno chords, building in anticipation as atmospheric sound effects dart about the mix above, subtle but sturdy rhythms guiding us through the track. ‘Dethroned’ continues, drum machines punching through as hard-hitting claps catch you off-guard. Its infectious low-end crawls below as cavernous synth melodies rear their head occasionally, making for tantalising drops perfect for mind-warping dancefloor frenzies.

Dubfire & Flug join forces for the ‘Magma’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR imprint, landing 27th September 2024. The EP marks SCI+TEC boss and Deep Dish legend Dubfire’s debut on CLR, with Argentinian techno lynchpin Flug returning to the label for the first time since his ‘Sincrodestino’ EP in 2014.

Dubfire & Flug’s ‘Magma’ EP on CLR starts with the title track, which sees crackling dub hits echo up top whilst deep low-end courses beneath its steady groove. ‘Magma’ is a raw and overwhelming force destined for late nights on powerful systems, enthralling dancers with its cavernous drops and frenzied soundscapes. ‘Friction’ then eases us in with whirring, electrifying acid as distant synths inch closer, culminating in a shadowy and hypnotic warehouse cut. Björn Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ EP kickstarts CLR’s 2025 with three pounding Techno tracks 31st January 2025. From the razor-sharp percussion and raw bassline power in title track ‘Binary Fate’, to the cavernous dub hits and shadowy atmospheres of ‘Fear of the Unknown’, before closing on the mind-warping signals of ‘Lost in Transmission’ - Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ is yet another supersized debut on the seminal CLR.

Following Björn Torwellen’s appearance on the CLR podcast in June 2024, the Cologne-based artist now definitively joins Chris Liebing’s label with the ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker this January. The Southern returns to CLR with the ‘B2basic’ EP. The three-track EP includes a remix from Chicagoan Techno legend DJ Rush.

The Southern returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR this March with the ‘B2basic’ EP, following his two-part ‘Particle’ EP on the label in 2024. Up first is title track ‘B2basic’, a fully-charged cut laced with a wigged-out acid line, primed for peak-time club action. Then comes Chicago’s DJ Rush with the remix, a thrashing interpretation defined by layers of syncopated high-hats whilst a brooding synth guides you into a sense of warehouse rave nostalgia. Lastly, ‘Beg It’ works stripped-back, snare-rattling techno loops to create mesmerising space and depth for the closing track.

The Southern’s high-grade techno has gained support from industry heavyweights like Robert Hood, Ben Sims, Amelie Lens, and many more on impressive imprints such as Truncate, On Edge Society, Kneaded Pains, and, of course, CLR, on which he has become one of the label’s leading artists.

Chris Liebing comes back to his CLR label this April with the ‘Phantom Rider’ EP, already supported by Daniel Avery, GiGi FM, Jon Hester, and more. The first track, ‘Kaizen’, doesn’t hold back - pounding drums, cavernous dub chords, and a razor-sharp snare-laden groove all play a part in this peak-time offering. Liebing’s ‘Wailer’ completes the package, continuing with more rough and raw rhythm and wonky, unfiltered 303 lines, making for a fantastic follow-up to his acclaimed version of Emmanuel Top’s acid techno hit, ‘Turkish Bazaar’, which closed out CLR’s 2024 and has stayed at the top of the Beatport Techno charts throughout 2025.
