Long gone times when a person would live their life in a singular layer of reality - nowadays the change is so swift and radical, that we manage to live actual multiple lifetimes within our allotted time on Earth. What took once a century to master, is expected of us to do in a decade, and then masterfully transform into the next thing. Is this metamorphosis the next step in human evolution or an unnecessary cause of our collapse to come?

DJ Dextro returns to Consumed Music, this time with a driving hypnotic 2-tracker, bound to become a new favorite dancefloor tool.

The efficient bassline-driven title track builds tension with its industrial pad and synth sequence, sprinkled through with detuned fx, while the groovy ‘Optical Illusion’ takes on a journey with its versatile driving bassline, detuned synth shots, looped vox and 808-esque drums.

A new exciting addition to the label’s roster, Holldën delivers a dreamy approach to ‘Optical Illusion’, that mesmerizes with its airy pads, hypnotic synth sequences, eerie fx, and bright tops.

This set is part of the @beatsdonor charity campaign, in which electronic music artists encourage people to register with bone marrow donor bases to save the lives of children suffering from leukemia. #beatsdonor

Born in Córdoba (Argentina) in 1986. From childhood he showed an interest in electronic music, influenced at that time by albums that were heard by his older brothers, one of them was a DJ at the beginning of the 90’s.

It would not be until his adolescence that he would begin to learn guitar, which led him to learn to compose music of genres and styles very dissimilar to each other, as well as to execute other instruments.

Returning to the first love, he then dedicated himself totally to Techno music and to give life to what he calls “Rhombic”, a name that shows its curiosity to the laws of physics and mathematics.

Serbia’s Filip Xavi takes over the second release of 2023 on MindTrip. The DJ & producer from Belgrade released his first track on our label a year ago as part of the fourth edition of Mutable Minds series. Now he is back and ready for his debut solo work.

‘Imminence EP’ consists of four deep, hypnotic yet powerful cuts representing the sound of MindTrip. The release opens with ‘Red Alert’ and its distorted sounds, filtered sequences, and a sharp modular line mutating across time and space. ‘Metal to Metal’ takes us to a darker and more abstract place with its subtler underlying layers. ’Anti Air’ is a focused tool rich in depth and warmth, making it the archetypal Techno trip as it pushes forward with its fast-beating pacing. ‘While we drift apart’ sets the end to this musical journey and presents a slow-paced composition filled with dream-like drones & evoking landscapes.
