Soma’s sonic wizard SLV makes a welcome return to the label with the Letter From Mars EP. The Italian maestro has been busy of late between his tireless work on the extensive Soma Sample Pack library to various personal projects and once again delivers 3 expertly produced and hard hitting tracks. 

Gardens Of Anxiety opens the EP at break neck speed and continues to up the tempo throughout with direct, concussive percussion and perfectly distorted stabs creating the rhythm. Vision Revelations continues to show SLV’s high end production skills as he works in a crafty, ominous synth hook that gives the track a fuller body. Umami closes proceedings out on a particularly groove orientated note seeing SLV keeping the pace set high but once again working in twisted stabs giving the tracks a dark tonality.
