The Firm “Ascaridida “ hired a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) soon after the Board of Directors has been decimated by the Stigma Virus. Gerald Rivian is a former military commander who did fight in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also has a degree in software engineering specialized in video games as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is known to be evil and relentless. He was mandated by the CEO of the Firm Ascaridida to start a new artificial intelligence division with the goal of creating robots that would replace all the politicians in the world that are either populist, stupid or ignorant. Apparently, the market is enormous in most country of the world and could create billions of dollars of new revenues. Gerald Rivian is known to never give up and he is ready for the challenge even if there could be numerous collateral damages such as the end of all populist political parties. Strangely, he knew every members of the Board of Directors before the decimation. Could it be that Gerald Rivian planned this decimation because they were all members of the Depublican Party?

The New Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Rucci (read as Ruchi means taste in Tamil). Rucci is an original composition that describes the nonlinear evolution of my taste in music. The structure of this piece is like a taste platter where I first pay homage to several composers who've influenced my taste in music in the quest for finding my own voice. Second, Rucci is a song about Resonance and Dissonance - two fundamental reasons as to why I make music in the first place. Just like sympathetic resonance, I believe that our taste in music is merely a reflection of our resonance with the composers and listeners around us. Similarly, the dissonance in my life and the way my mind processes it is what is reflected in the track. This was an experimental venture to break the boundaries of genre and focus primarily on the theme of the song. Hope this track resonates with you :)

I made this track for a composer challenge in the OPIA discord, (challenge: make an intimate track). Made using Glass piano, vintage keys, a korg and sometimes in tune vocals. I also got a "field" recording of me doing an imaging experiment. It's been so cool playing with glass piano, I used to study listening to philip glass alot.. now I'm doing experiments and playing with his piano. so that's fun.
