Research 8 Year Anniversary (4am to 6am)

Lychee is one of Brooklyn's most versatile and intentional DJs. In September's session for El Commodino, they came with a hour of slow, emotional and extremely intimate selection that alchemized my post-rave blues into bittersweet memories.

This month I recorded a b2b with my talented friend 30,000AD. A magician behind the decks, she's known for using a drum machine in her DJ sets (and we used it during this session). Enjoy the spirals we generated.

Flow State w/ T.Wan and Special Guest 30,000AD - Noods Radio (9.19.23)

With deep roots that stretch from ambrosial Kerala to the golden coast of California, CHA CHA’s (@cha-cha-pillai) sound is inspired by purling polyrhythms from cultures beyond the West. Their devotion to tabla, djing, and modular synthesis, guides them through universal sonic spaces.

Mother and sound engineer of Corduroy Garden Soundsystem, CHA CHA organizes hi-fidelity techno-forward experiences in Los Angeles underground. They have worked with crews and curators such as New Palm, Pranks!, Printshop, Vitamin1k, FeM Synth Lab, Acid Camp and United Selector Network.

"With this mix I intend to highlight my everlasting love for cheeky, freaky productions and wormhole bass lines while exploring the mesmerizing technicalities of drum traditions from around the world. We paired Abby’s mix with a ghost print by Edgar Heap of Birds; a monoprint from his recent collection of single prints is what he calls a "ghost" print (he paints the plate, lays paper on and pulls ink for the first print, then repeats the process with whatever ink's left -- the "ghost" from the first pull).
