Cantor began to produce and to live-performing Techno in the early '90s after he naturally converted from punk and indie, inspired by Industrial and Detroit productions. His music encompasses sounds coming from Italo Disco, Detroit Techno, Punk and New Wave. Passionate about vinyl editions, he also actively re-issues music from other labels. Today he is based in San Jose, California, where he operates in the software industry and runs his label, Underground Pacific. Cantor work has been released on influential labels such as Trafico Music, Correspondant, Motordiscs, Nothing Is Real, Emerald & Doreen and, of course, Underground Pacific.

Acclaimed Lithuanian electronic duo Five Rituals present their debut LP ‘V Rituals’ – a beautifully crafted, highly creative and beguiling album about love, despair, inner work and pollution in the outer world and the dangers we all face. 

Utilising a selection of field recordings from now destroyed places, lockdown allowed Five Rituals - the duo comprised of Deividas Jaroška (Resident Advisor’s ‘one to watch’) and Andrius Grinevskis (aka Auren) - to make concrete connections in a moment creating a stunning cinematic journey. 

The experimental ‘V Rituals’ cleverly fuses elements of breaks, dubstep, drum & bass, avant-garde, jazz, garage, ambient, and electronica to present a soundscape which is completely exciting and unique. The duo worked with guitarist and composer Edvis Kopcevas, violinists Lora Kmieliauskaite and Barbora Gailiute, plus saxophonist Simonas Šipavičius (from famous free jazz group Sheep Got Waxed) to refine the sound to a realm of electro-acoustic.  

Chopped-up and glitched-out breaks, Musique Concrete cut up noise effects with cinematic sound design and earth-shaking wide bass as intricate programming makes the group stand out. No wonder, that both musicians are technical music nerds always looking to breaks rules! The music has a balance between both club and psychoacoustic experimentations. Featuring such celebrated musicians, it can work both at a rave act and also a concert. 

Five Rituals are currently working on an exciting new live show featuring modern dancers and ballet dancers, alongside visual artists, to create A/V live experiences that will push conceptual art with nightlife culture.

Funboys is a Norwegian-Australian-Belgian music collaboration, born from a mutual penchant for late nights, stiff drinks, bad dance-moves, techno and punk.

Seven years ago, the Funboys lads started meeting up in a synth-dungeon on the East Coast of Australia on Friday afternoons, with the aim of finishing a baker’s dozen beers as well as an edit that could be played out the very same night in the club.

After overcoming their cultural differences and associated language barriers the natural progression from these humble and beer-battered beginnings was to venture into writing original Funboys material; house and techno, often rooted in a punk attitude.

Juno has described the Funboys sound as “impressively madcap” and “inspired lunacy.”

Funboys has released a variety of music on Tronik Youth’s UK label @neinrecords, Golden Bug’s French label @labellerecords, Mexican label @vnnmx, and Australian labels @sweat-it-out-music, @unknown-records-2, @heretohell, and @futureclassic. Funboys have upcoming releases on @motorikrecords, @bellydanceservices, and @calypsorecs.

Their guest mix tape can be described as brutalist electronic clown-punk, but you should strap in and see for yourself…

Mecánica Clásica is an experimental electronic sound project from Valencia, an innovative & prolific group responsible for some of the most compelling contemporary electronic music to emerge from the Valencian underground.

The Mecánica Clásica project combines modified elements of early electronics, krautrock, ambient, minimalism & fourth world music, generating an
interplanetary space where enterprising guitar tones, lush synth sequencing & off-kilter percussion coalesce.

Their output to date includes the album ‘Vientos Eléctricos’ (Abstrackce Records / Humo), as well as the cassette releases ‘Filtraciones de Luz’ (Abstrackce Records), ‘Colección Exigua Vol.1’ (Cintas Chromo) & ‘Colección Exigua Vol.2’ (Faith Disciplines). 

‘Mar Interior’ the new album by Mecánica Clásica is a fusion of kosmische & fourth world music inspired by ancient Mediterranean culture. Loosely translated as ‘Inland Sea’, ‘Mar Interior’ is thematically centred on the history & legacy of the ancient civilisations that proliferated around the Mediterranean Sea. 

Augmented by environmental recordings, Mecánica Clásica renew the
extensive topographies opened up by early pioneers like Craig Leon, Jon Hassell, and Brian Eno & Cluster, in an immense vision of Spanish space rock. On ‘Mar Interior’ their work expands upon these influences, moving into a shimmering, hypnotic sound world which finds common ground with the likes of O Yuki Conjugate, K. Leimer, Roberto Musci & X.Y.R.
